23: CHANGE OF HEART

Awkward, this scenario feel awkward because they're both looking at me with a surprised look

I don't know how to react, should I tell her to leave him alone or what? Does she know about us pretending? Guess not cause she won't be startled if she already know

"Happy 4th Anniversary" I said and started walking away

I heard him calling my name but I decided not to response, water started to form in my eyes one blink and tears started to stream down to my cheeks

I shouldn't be crying and feeling this shit. I went to somewhere silent and where no one is around, away from them. I stopped when I heard a footstep and saw a figure following me

"sudden change of heart?" he said with his both hands on the pocket of his jeans

I keep myself quite not giving him any response

"don't you think you're being too fragile when it comes to Taehyung?" He added while sweeping off the dust on the bench and had his seat

"not now Seokjin" I retort

"I'm trying to comfort you here" he pouted offering me to sit beside him

"stop, you look awful" I said sarcastically

"just trying to make you smile" he chuckled

I wiped my tears that kept on streaming down to my cheeks and turned to face him and showed him a fake smile

"done, now disappear" I am expecting him to leave but he just shook his head and pinch my cheeks

"your cheeks is getting puffy " he said

"for your very clear information I don't want anybody to talk to me right now so please leave me alone " I said removing his hand on my cheeks and emphasizing every word that I say and rolled my eyes at him cause he's getting into my nerves

"aren't we friends?" he teased crossing his arms on his chest

"that was years ago" I answer nonchalantly

"you know what sometimes numbing the pain for a while will make it worse when you finally feel it." he urged

I felt that, his words hit me very hard and that fvcking hurts. He made me realize that sometimes talking to the person who used to be one of your loved ones make you feel at ease even though they give you the same pain

" you can always come to me, I'll be here waiting for you to embrace me again" he jest and spread his hands like giving me a hug but I didn't fall for it

"give me a break I have no energy left to talk about the past" I said resting my head on his shoulder instead

"The damage you gave me was permanent, the scars will always be there maybe it is because you're my first love but what can I do even the angriest scars faded over time until it was difficult to see them written on your skin at all and the only thing that remained was the memory of how painful it had been" I stated and another tears started to stream down to my cheeks

"sorry to keep your shirt stained but you have no choice I need a shoulder to lean on. It's just that remembering is easy but forgetting is hard"

SEOKJIN's

I was walking around the school when I suddenly saw Jisoo getting out of the building so I decided to pull a prank on her so I followed her. I tried getting near her when I hear her crying voice so instead of pulling a prank on her I ended up comforting her which makes me also feel happy

"sudden change of heart?" I uttered and saw her cheeks getting puffy because of her tears. Seeing her swollen eyes makes me want to throw a fit to Tae but it's not the right time for that besides he's the boyfriend and I'm just her ex.

I tried having a conversation with her and give some words that will make her feel comfortable when I suddenly felt her head resting on my shoulder

"sorry to keep your shirt stained but you have no choice I need a shoulder to lean on. It's just that remembering is easy but forgetting is hard" she said that makes me chuckle

Minutes had passed and I haven't heard anything from her I tried asking her a question but she just gave me a snore as a response I guess she's asleep

"just weep all you want and let bygones be bygones" I whispered removing a strand of hair on her face

I was just about to carry and let her rest in my car but a strong hand meddle in.

"you don't have to, I'm taking her home she's none of your business anymore so move" he said with his cold tone

He carried Jisoo away from me and here I am being left again all alone

There are memories that time does not erase. Forever does not make loss forgettable, only bearable and one of them was when I am with Jisoo.
