The sound of the television, chatter, and my footsteps echoed throughout the hallway as I made my way to the living room. As soon as I stepped inside, the chatter stopped as the pastas turned to look at me.
Seeing as Ben knew it was best to avoid me, he immediately went to his room after breakfast. The proxies went to their rooms to get ready for our upcoming mission while the others went to the living room besides the Slender brothers along with Puppeteer and Painter. I swear those two are always together.
I rolled my eyes as I sat next to Sally on the couch. Someone had turned off the television making me feel worse. All the attention was on me.
"I miss you!" She exclaimed in front of the guys. Her eyes sparkled as she wrapped her arms around me. Her head rested on my shoulder as I glared at the guys.
"Can you guys stop looking at me like that? It's weird." I complained as I used my arms to hold Sally in place. "You guys look as if you've seen a ghost."
"I expected you to be the last person to care for children. Remind me how many children have you brutally murdered?" Liu laughed but my death glare quickly shut him up.
"I've killed every child I've seen, besides Sally. She's special though, I can sense Creepypasta material in her." Sally looked at me with curiosity. I looked away before she asked a question. "So can you guys stop staring at me now?"
Jeff started to play with his knife as he started to chuckle. "Yesterday we were told you died on your birthday, so here we were about to prep a funeral for you, then you suddenly appear. How do you think we feel now that you're in front of us?"
I shrugged my shoulders. "You can't blame me for Ben making you guys believe that."
"Jeff you're going to hurt yourself," Liu warned him as he stared at the sharp knife flying up in the air.
"Shut the fuck up Liu, you're just jealous of my knife skills," Jeff smirked as he threw it up in the air once again.
I closely watched the knife as Jeff threw it up again. This time, however, he caught it by holding the blade.
He let out a loud yelp before the knife hitting the wooden floor echoed throughout the room. Liu immediately sat up but stopped once he saw it.
Jeff's hand wasn't covered with his crimson blood, instead, it was covered with a dark black substance. I widen my eyes at the sight of it. I've never seen it happen to anyone.
Sally looked at my shocked figure before looking at Jeff with the same reaction.
"Why do you- How is that possible!" Liu exclaimed. He grabbed his younger brother's wrist but was cautious where his wound was."
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that L.J was amused.
"Can you stop being so fucking overprotective," Jeff pushed him in annoyance. "We're immortal remember?"
Immortal?
"We're immortal?" Liu turned around to ask me. I quickly changed into my calm expression. I didn't know how to answer it.
"Why do you think our blood is black?" E.J answered him. "His wound is going to heal in a few seconds just watch." My gaze moved towards his hand and witness his wound was indeed healing.
I stared at his wound as I recalled what had happened yesterday. When both Derek and Zalgo stabbed me, my blood was red. My wounds weren't healing like Jeff's. I gulped as I realized I was mortal unlike them.
Jeff wiped off the blood once his wound was finally healed. "Don't tell me you didn't know that, idiot"
I wasn't aware of it either
