The seven-year-old ran across the forest to go to her desired place. She had snuck out of the mansion at two in the morning after she had woken up from a violent nightmare. She had witnessed deaths and it was too much for her to take it. She didn't care it was dangerous to run around the forest at night because tonight was the night she would finally put an end to her suffering.
She stopped running after she spotted the familiar cliff in front of her. Every step she took was a step closer to freedom. Her unsteady breath was the only thing she heard during the silent night.
Once she was at the edge of the cliff, she fell onto her knees as she gazed at the dark ocean underneath her. Although she could barely see it due to the dark sky, she still heard the ocean waves.
If she jumped, Slenderman wouldn't know where she was located. She wouldn't have to train for hours nor would she have to kill another person again. Zalgo couldn't torture her with nightmares as well. Her death was the only solution to bring her peace.
"Do it," she heard a voice behind her.
"Go away Zalgo," the girl responded as she wiped her tears away. She refused to look at him let alone allow him to see her crying.
Zalgo smirked at the girl's response. He had already read her thoughts.
"You're bold to talk to me like that, little one." He bent down next to her before continuing, "But as I was saying, jump and you could place an end to your misery." Zalgo caressed her cheek as he spoke.
Y/n slowly stood up as she kept her gaze at the ocean. He was right, if she jumped off then she wouldn't live anymore. Zalgo wouldn't be able to torture her and she wouldn't have to deal with Slenderman's antics.
All it took was a jump.
Y/N stared at the ocean beneath her before she turned around to glare at Zalgo.
"No."
Zalgo furrowed his eyebrows in amusement. "No?"
"No," she repeated. "Slenderman said we'll kill you. I wanna do that when I'm older! I don't care if I have to train for hours."
Zalgo pulled his head back in laughter. "You want to kill the guy who has made you stronger? If I recall correctly, I've helped you with how to use some weapons. You should be grateful I'm training you behind Slenderman's back."
"But you're giving me nightmares every night!" She stomped her foot as she yelled.
"I'm simply preparing you for the future Y/N. How can you be physically strong when you're mentally weak? Emotions are your worse enemy, my dear."
"You're my enemy!" She screamed out.
Zalgo growled before he grabbed the girl in his arms. He got closer to the edge to the point if he dropped her then she would fall to the ocean.
"Give me a damn reason why I shouldn't let you go?" He gritted out.
Y/N kept thrashing around as she tried to escape from his hold. Seeing as she couldn't do it, she had no option but to reply to him.
"Because I'll kill you. As soon as you wake up from your nap, I'll kill you. I'm going to tell Slenderman everything! I'm not afraid of you anymore!"
"Wrong answer."
Before the girl could respond, she felt herself falling from the cliff. She yelled along the way but unfortunately, she had her mouth open when she had fallen into the water.
