Proxy in Command (Creepypasta X Reader)

Chapter 6

Slenderman held a meeting for the Proxies and me after dinner. By now the Proxies understood we were dealing with a cannibalistic murderer. He wasn't going to be facile to talk to like the others. If we aren't careful he could easily consume our kidneys which would result in our death.

"In this case, I'm unaware where he'll attack which is why you each will get an assigned town. I realize this will be one of the most challenging missions you will have to face but to make it easier..." Slenderman opened his desk cabinet and pulled out four phones. " You will communicate with the others once you locate him. Send them your address and the others should arrive soon. If you feel you're in danger, you will abort the mission and I will have to take care of him myself. Understood?" He explained while giving us our devices.

We all nodded while going through our phones. "I already added the contacts and made a group chat. These phones will be yours to keep and will be used on missions. I will place your chargers in your rooms while you're on the mission."

Slenderman than gave us our assigned town and soon we were out of his office. Seeing as this wasn't a group mission, I didn't bother to ask them to wait for me. In the meantime, I headed towards my room and got my main dagger and placed three tinnier ones inside my secret pocket on my thighs. As soon as I was ready, I opened my door and saw Jeff raising his knuckles. He was about to knock on my door but I beat him to it.

"What are you doing?" I spoke out.

He lowered his hand and placed it in his hoodie pocket. "Masky told me you guys are on a treacherous mission so I thought why not tag along seeing as you guys might face a cannibal."

I raised my eyebrow. "You do know I have a 25% of bumping into him, why can't you help Masky seeing as he has anger issues?"

He shrugged, "Cuz... you're a girl and you might have to deal with a cannibal dude."

I widen my eyes in anger. How dare he inference that I was weaker. I grabbed the strings of his hoodie and pulled them down at my height. This caused Jeff to bend his knees.

"Call me weak again and I will beat your ass. I thought I made it clear that you shouldn't mess with me," I warned him. He nodded while touching my hands that were still wrapped on the strings.

I sighed and let him go. I started to walk away but not before I said, "I don't need your help. I'm fully capable of dealing with him by myself"

I started walking down the stairs until I noticed Jeff was still following me. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Jeff, why are you following me?" I asked.

"I'm going on a killing spree in (Random Town's Name), " he explained. That was the same town Slenderman had assigned me.

I growled. "Why can't you go to another town with Masky or better yet with Hoodie or Toby?"

He shrugged again, "I don't feel like it"

As soon as stepped down on the floor, I saw the Proxies waiting for me by the door. They all looked at me and Jeff.

"I thought you guys left," I admitted. "I didn't think you guys would wait for me"

"And I thought this was a solo mission. What is Jeff doing here?" Masky irritatedly asked.

I rolled my eyes. "He's going on a killing spree at the same town I'm headed so he better not interfere in my mission," I warned Jeff by glaring at him.

Jeff raised his hands in surrender. "Fine by me."

"Whatever let's get this over with," I said with an annoyed tone.

Hoodie was the one closest to the door so he opened it for us. Once we were outside he closed it and joined us.

"Remember this mission should take us about 3 hours. If by 3 am none of us have spotted him, we have to go back here and try again tomorrow." I explained. "If you spot him, call for back up and the rest of us have to immediately go there. Understood?"
