I slowly gained consciousness despite my eyes still being shut. I snuggled up in bed with the bedsheets as I felt comfortable. I had probably woken up before my alarm so I figured I could fall back asleep.

Nothing lasts forever because I was greeted with a sharp headache. I held my head with one of my hands and tried to reach for my Advil pills on the side, but felt nothing.

I slowly opened my eyes and realized I wasn't in my bed. I wasn't in my room, to begin with. Instead, I was in a red and black room. I started to panic as I tried to recall what had happened. All I remembered was the creepypastas failing to hit Zalgo so I took action and jumped into a portal with him. But as I kept trying to recall what happened after, the headache became unbearable.

I threw the bedsheets away and ran straight out of the room. I panicked even more upon realizing that I was at Zalgo's place. With every corner that I took, I was greeted with black walls. Where the hell were the others?

Surprisingly, I didn't stumble upon any guards on my way. After struggling to find the main entrance, I finally opened the entrance doors. The two guards who were previously guarding it were still there.

I tried reaching for my dagger, only for my heart to shrink when I remembered I had lost it. One of them was about to attack me before the other spoke out.

"Idiot, we were ordered not to hurt her if she tried to escape!"

The one who had a sword aiming at me widen his eyes before running back inside. I figured he was going to get Zalgo. I wasted no time and sprinted down the stairs to the familiar pillars despite the other guard's protest.

I still couldn't remember a single thing, but all I could focus on was getting out of here. Once I step into the pillars, I won't have to see this place again.

I was a few feet away from the pillars when two fireballs were thrown to my right, destroying the pillars completely.

I stood there frozen at the sight. I felt my heart crush as I realized I was stuck here. There was no way for me to return to the real world. I wouldn't be able to see the others seeing as they can no longer travel here.

"Darling, please tell me you haven't forgotten our deal."

"Deal?" I whispered as I stared at the broken black pieces. All of a sudden, it all came back to me. The battle failed which resulted in me sacrificing my freedom for their survival.

"No," I gulped. "I can't be stuck here with you. I can't!" I got up and tried to punch him in his chest. "Don't do this to me! Take me back!" I yelled as desperation hit.

"Y/N calm down, I can't explain how things will work if you keep on screaming." He said as he held my wrists.

"I don't fucking care! I'm not letting you ruin my life! I'm not staying here with you!"

Zalgo sighed before he brought me to his chest and teleported us back to his room. I tried to pull away but he held me in place as he held the back of my head.

"Let me go!" My screams were muffled seeing as my face was trapped on his chest. I felt him wrap my waist with his other arm as he placed his head on top of mine.

"The marking process isn't done yet Y/N. I'm afraid I need you to rest for a while before we begin talking."

I tried to pull away again, but I felt like losing control of my body as he started humming a tune. No matter how hard I tried to move my arms, I couldn't since I was paralyzed. Slowly, I felt my eyelid getting heavier with each second yet I fought to stay awake.

Zalgo finished his tune after a minute, slowly pulling back to look at my figure. He chuckled at my weakened state before carrying me to the bed once again.
