They collected all the evidence they could and headed back to ops

Deeks and kensi took kensi's car and it was silent the whole way to ops, when they pulled up kensi turned off the car and looked at deeks "we will find her deeks" his head was hanging low and his eyes still damp with tears "It's my fault Kens, I'm not meant to be a father" Deeks looked at her "dont say that deeks" kensi now had tears running down her face "we should go" Deeks went for the car door handle "wait" kensi put her hand on his shoulder to stop him "if any of this is too much deeks you need to let me know" her voice was serious now and the tears were gone "ok" Deeks said quietly and got out of the car

The whole team was up in ops "an amber alert was sent out 15 minutes ago to all surrounding areas" nell informed the team while sneaking a glance at deeks every few seconds "Deeks" she asked "can you think of anyone who..." "no" he interrupted her "no I don't, this doesn't make any sense, no one knows about her hell I didn't even know about her till a little over a week ago" he was fighting back tears now "Mr deeks" hetty said placing a hand on his shoulder "is this case too close" the whole team knew this case was way to close to deeks, hell for all of them but they also all knew that if they were in this situation they wouldn't want to be taken off so they stayed quiet "no hetty it's not, I'm here to help" he pushed back the tears and stood up straight "what about the kidnapper last week" Callen looked up to his team "we arrested him a few days ago G" Sam stated "what if he had a partner" kensi looked over to nell and Eric "check his call logs see if there are any numbers he texted or called frequently" just as those words came out of kensi's mouth deeks phone began to ring and the ID was blocked "pick it up put it on speaker" kensi walked towards him

"hello" Deeks answered the phone

"hello Mr... Deeks is it" the voice was auto toned and Eric and nell began to try to get a location on it

"yes who is this" Deeks questioned

"that isnt something you need to know, what you need to know is that I have your daughter and if you ever want to see her again your going to need to do something for me" the voice sounded mad

"who are you" Deeks asked again

"a friend of a friend, now if you want to see your daughter again your going to need to pass something on to a friend. Do you remember a man by the name of Nick... Nick haley" nell and Eric couldn't get a search on the phone so they continued to listen

"I don't remember did i arrest him" Deeks asked truly not remembering

"no, you shot him, he was my brother and you killed him so if you don't do what i am asking you I will kill your daughter" the voice was getting angrier and angrier

"what do you want" Deeks was trying to stay calm

"I need you to pass a million dollars to a friend of mine" the voice almost laughed

"and where am I suppose to get a million dollars" Deeks was mad

"I'm not sure Marty but if you want to see your daughter again you have 24 hours to deposit the money in the bank bank account I will text it to you" and with that the man hung up.
