Fury's POV
"Now I am sure you are all wondering what you are doing here." I say as I look over my new team. "You 6 have been chosen to become the Avengers. A group of extraordinary individuals such as yourselves, the the purpose of defending and keeping peace." I see them go into shock. Tasha is good at hiding her emotions and what she is thinking but the others' jaws dropped.
"Now I understand that to most of you..." I gesture to the boys. "This is a shock. Don't worry, we are going to have you all train and bond together before sending you on any actual missions. We don't want any of you to die before you graduate the academy. It would be bad for press." I say while keeping a straight face. Oh how I love scaring kids.
Natasha's POV
No no no no no. This is horrible. I can't have anyone find out about what I am doing and Nick's version of team bonding is locking us in a room together and saying don't kill each other.
If they find out anything they will immediately tell Nick. Especially golden boy Rogers.
Sure what I am doing is technically illegal but I am an assassin what else do you expect.
I need to find him. I need that closure. To know if he is dead or alive. If he remembers.
It's a long shot but I can try.
Oh god what about when they learn about what I have done and about Rose. They will never trust me.
I can't grow too attached though. Madame B has found me and sent letters. I have seen her little spies following me when I go out.
Oh god why is my life so complicated.
Steve's POV
What! I barely know these people. How am I supposed to work with them. From what I have gathered there are 2 assassins, 2 scientists, a really tall blond guy, and me.
I just got out of the ice and thrown into a new century and now they want me to be on a team with a bunch of strangers!
These people are crazy. Natasha admitted to killing people, Tony is a rich boy with a death machine, Clint is some kind of assassin, and I have no idea about the other two.
This is going to be a crazy year.
