"Guard!!"

Megumi snapped out of her thoughts and saw Prince looking at her rather annoyed. Ah crap he's annoyed at me.

"Yes your highness?" Megumi spoke outloud.

"The maids said I have some people that want to talk to me so let's go."

The prince got up and she nodded her head, her attention turned to the other guard as he sighs.

Megumi and the other guard was now walking behind the prince, but the thoughts of last night was still going through her head and none of them would leave her alone. When her gaze met Touya's figure her face heated up with the memories of last night flooding into her mind.

He was so warm and nice.
Prince Touya even smiled, I never saw him smile before.

The memory of him smiling while looking at her made her heart race. However it wasn't her he was smiling for. How could it be he didn't even know what she really looked like so could he be smiling for her?

Since he wasn't smiling for me. . . Why was he smiling last night?

Megumi didn't realize it but she bumped into the Prince, when she did realized she backed away kneeled down on one knee. "My apologies your highness. It won't happen again." She said.

Touya just simply looked at her he didn't say anything to her and just simply turned around and started to walk away. This confused Megumi since she saw many times the prince was shouting at people or how many times he sent them to the prisons for touching him.

He didn't shout?

He didn't send me away either. . .

Why not?

Megumi quickly got up and ran after the prince with the other guard. Confusion still in her eyes, she took small glances at the prince as they walked down the halls of the castle.

I don't understand what's going on. . . I bumped into him and I wasn't paying attention twice today so why isn't he shouting at me?
He would normally shout or send me to the prisons but he done none of that and just simply calmly explained that he needed to go somewhere or like just now turned and walked away.

As she turned her head she looked at the other guard and saw that he was confused by this too. So it was no point in asking him. Megumi couldn't help but wonder what was Prince Touya thinking. He was only ever nice to people when his siblings was around, especially when Prince Shoto was there.

But again prince Touya never smiled he made his siblings smile and laugh but he never did.

Once Megumi snapped out of it she realized that they were at the throne room of the castle. When she walked in she saw some women standing there in a line. She glanced at Prince Touya but his back was facing her so she didn't see his face. However she could tell the prince was annoyed by this.

"Let's get this over with." Touya said and walked in and sat on his throne.

Megumi and the other guard walked behind him and stood behind the throne. She saw Prince Touya resting his chin in the palm of his hand looking at the women that was there.

He's already bored.

Megumi let out a soft quiet sigh and looked at each woman. All of them was so happy to see the prince. But that's only because he was the prince and next in line to the throne. All the women wanted was to be Queen. They don't want Prince Touya because they love him they want him because they either want to be Queen or they want to be rich.

"This is so stupid, time and time again I have to tell them I'm not interested." Prince Touya mumbled.

Megumi let out a small laugh but stopped when the prince looked at her. When he turned around again she put her hand over her mouth and started to laugh again. The guard that was with her tried not to laugh.

When the first women came up to Prince Touya she confessed that she thought he was handsome and that she loved him. Well that was a mistake on her part.

"You love me? You don't know me. How can you love someone that you don't even know?" The prince asked.

Megumi looked at the woman and sighed again. Before the women could answer the prince he spoke again. "You don't love me you love the fact that if I married you you'd be Queen. So that means you'd have a lot of money."

He's going to execute her.

"Get her out of my sight and get her ready to be executed." Prince Touya spoke in a harsh cold tone.

Called it!

"Yes your highness." Megumi spoke.

But to her surprise the prince stopped her. "no not you." He said.

The other Guard and Megumi exchanged looks. Megumi stood there and looked at the prince while the other guard got her out of the princes sight.

This made Megumi feel different kinds of emotions:
Scared
Nervous
Confused
And worried.

Why did he have her stay back?

That one question was going though her head the whole time. But she didn't know the answer and she didn't want to ask the prince just in case she either didn't like the answer or he got annoyed at her because she asked him.

So instead she stayed quiet and just stood by his side the whole time.
