Nightmare 6

Prince Touya looked up at Megumi and raised a brow. "And what's that?" He asked to her.

Megumi was hesitant at first but opened her mouth and started to speak. "Your highness. I'm going on leave. I haven't had a holiday or time off since I started it so I'm going to take it now." She spoke.

This shocked the prince, he didn't know what to say. "You- you can't just leave yet! Your-" before he could finish Megumi spoke again.

"I'm sorry your highness. I'm leaving. I don't know when I'll be back. Have a good day your highness and have a great coronation too." Megumi told him and walked out of the room.

She took a deep breath and walked down the halls of the castle. She couldn't believe she just told the prince what she was going to do and not asking for permission. That wasn't like her.

So it made the prince even more suspicious of her and now he was trying to think of a way on how he get the information on what is wrong with her.

While Touya was thinking of some ways to get the information Megumi was walking down the path from the village after buying some food for her walk.

She didn't know how far she going to go but it needed to be quite a fair bit away from the kingdom so she doesn't get seen by anyone she might know or that might know her so the prince doesn't know.

I know what I'm doing is horrible. They are the princes children and he has a right to know them but. . . I can't take the chance of him finding out and executing me after I give birth. For all I know he might only want a successor to the throne. . . I cannot put my children through my death and the hardship of Touya doing whatever he wants. . .

She continued to walk down the path.

The prince was sat down at his desk trying to think and wrap his head around what happened just now. Megumi has never talked to him like that before and still a serious tone of voice too but now she has and it made Prince Touya frustrated.

Why couldn't he figured out a way for him to get the information he needs and know what is going on with her.

Her mood swings, every now and then.

Sneaking out of the room she was in.

There was something wrong.

"I'm going to find out what's going on with her."
