"Koda..." I hear Keishin repeat, making me snap up in the passenger seat, almost having fallen asleep again.

He chuckles as I rub my eyes, mumbling, "You should've had some coffee or something before we left."

"Coffee only makes me anxious," I argue with a yawn, eyes adjusting to the faint light lighting the empty streets.

Through passing trees I catch glimpses of the sun starting to rise, painting the sky in pale shades of pink and purple. The sight makes me smile, and with a stolen glance I look over at Keishin, his eyes carefully focused on the road, hair struggling to stay in its elastic constraints. Flashes of warm light illuminate his face periodically, the scene before my eyes only to be described as angelic.

"I had an amazing time this weekend," I manage to say quietly, "When can we see each other again?"

He smiles, teasing, "You like me that much, huh?"

"Shut the fuck up," I mutter, rolling my eyes, "I think we've established that I like you a lot."

My eyes spot a familiar blush peppering his cheeks and he clears his throat, "Your break starts this coming weekend, right?"

"Mhm," I hum in agreement, eyes still plastered on his pretty ass face, sighing as I say, "I can't believe I'm graduating this week."

"I know, it all went by so fast," he mutters in agreement, adding after a pause, "But then we get to date openly."

With a big, dumb grin, I nod quietly, the idea of it only making me giddy, uttering quietly, "I can't wait."

"Well, then next week you can come over to my place and wait for me until I finish work in the mornings," he offers with a shrug.

I smile and nod, "That sounds good."

"Then I'll give you my spare key," he grins, the excited look on his face betraying any cool-guy facade he might be trying to convey.

"You're so fucking adorable," I laugh, my smile reaching from ear to ear.

He nods, taunting, "Much more than you. Work on that will you?"

My mouth flies open, but in rebuttal I murmur, "Then maybe you can work on lasting longer."

"Ha- sure," he scoffs, "that's why I'm the utterly exhausted one in the car right now."

I try my best to hold back a laugh, arguing, "You're gonna blame me for doing all the work? Sorry, you're so old and therefore suffer from fucking erectile dysfunction."

"Hey-" he laughs, but I cut him off.

"Hm? We should pick you up some viagra then next time we buy plan b? 'kay sweety, anything for your dusty ass dick." I say mockingly, successfully keeping a straight face.

He bursts out laughing and I have to join, and after a sigh, he murmurs, "My dick isn't that dusty."

"Nooo, not at all," I say sarcastically, "Men go through these kinds of issues all the time. Keishin, it's normal."

"Fucking hell," he whines, hand coming to massage his forehead, "I am not that bad."

I chuckle, and then after a pause I admit, "No you're not. I think you're the best I've had, you seem to read me like an open book."

He smiles at the reassurance, and then pulls over into my street, parking before ordering, "Kiss me will you?"

"No cheesy shit this time to make me kiss you?" I tease, "I thought there was no fun in just asking me."

He smiles, but after a second his eyes become serious, his smile slowly washing away, his expression hard to read.

"What? What did I do?" I ask quickly, my eyes darting around his face, desperately searching for a clue to interpret the guise in front of me.
