"Shhhh, shhh, let it out, let it all out."
"N-no more-"
"It'll feel better, I promise."
"N-no, please, j-ust no m-more..."
"It'll make it better, Jeongguk-ah."
"H-hyeo-" instantly cut off by more vomit hitting the toilet water, making the elder sigh softly while he kept on comfortingly rubbing between the sickly boy's shoulder blades, patting softly between rubs.
"Shh, shhh. Come on. You're okay, hyeong's got you." Taehyeong comforted, pulling Jeongguk up by the waist, keeping the frail boy's arm around his shoulders to be sure he wouldn't fall, only to hoist him up from under his knees, carrying with the other's whole weight towards the bed in the room they were in, gently putting him down onto it - to later disappear into the bathroom to flush the toilet and come back to the shivering, burning younger.
"The doctor should be here soon, Gguk. You'll get help. It's okay."

Only on cue for the health professional to walk into the room, holding a chart on his arm. "Ah, I see you've already been set into a room. Hello, I'm Dr. Lee, and I'll be your head doctor during your stay.
Okay, so according to the echography, Jeongguk's got a case of appendicitis.
Appendicitis happens when-"
"When the appendix becomes inflamed and filled with pus, causing acute pain on the lower left abdominal area, where the appendix is located. The appendix is a pouch on the end of the colon that has no known purpose. I know."
Dr. Lee raised his eyebrows at the lethargic boy filling in the explanation for him, Taehyung - in turn - looking used to it. "Very well, it seems like we've got a scholar here."
"I'm a medicine student."
"Oh! Amazing. In which case, I'll feel free to use technical terms.
So, as you may already know, acute appendicitis is commonly treated with an appendicectomy. But it can also heal on its own through antibiotics. So here's what we'll do; we'll proceed with antibiotic therapy and see what happens, since the inflammation is not life-threatening and is still in the treatable range of severity. If the situation doesn't get better and your appendix bursts, which isn't that likely in your case so don't worry, we'll have to perform the appendicectomy.
The recovery is going to be tedious and most likely painful and uncomfortable, we'll keep you with a nasogastric tube so you can get nutrients while avoiding any solid aliments that could create any further damage."

All said, while hooking the male to an intravenous, as the boy didn't even flinch and just nodded along to the words.
"Can I know the treatment you're doing? It's not that I don't trust you, but I'd like to know what's being injected into my bloodstream-"
The doctor seemed sceptical, but hummed. "We don't usually reveal the treatments we do on patients to them, but since you study this field, well...
The treatment through antibiotics for appendicitis normally lasts from eight to ten days. We usually use a mixture of amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, cefotaxime - or a fluoroquinolone. And we often add either metronidazole or tinidazole."
"I see."
"In your situation, considering your general health state and age, nothing more than that and painkillers to alleviate the pain should be necessary."
"Alright.. Thank you, doctor."
"Of course. We'll insert the nasogsstric tube soon. Just relax for now."
