Chapter 42

Aadhya.

He still remembers when he first met her.

She came inside his cabin with a stone look on her blank face which made him stunned at the first meeting itself.

Her emotionless face, her mute stance and her simplicity made him intrigued about her.

He thought she was a robot.

He chuckled dryly at that thought and bit his lip at those memories.

She wasn't like other girls.

She was different.

She didn't care of who is he is and what he is.

She neither didn't care of who she is and what she is.

She didn't either care for her appearance, her dress, make up, style, fashion and other stuff which girls nowadays do.

She is just plain.

She didn't even tried to impress him, she didn't flirt with him, she didn't tried to seduce him and she didn't even talked to him.

She didn't do anything which girls always had done with him infact still do it.

She is very hard working and talented girl. She is a quick learner and the most honest person he had ever met.

She was everything which other girls weren't.

Her emotionless face, cold eyes and stoic acts made him more interested in her.

There was something in her eyes. They were familiar in a way but yet strange at the same time.

He still couldn't understand the connection with her eyes though.

He gulped down the bitter liquid from the bottle down his throat.

His phone lit up with some notification and he froze seeing his wallpaper.

Tears welled up in his eyes looking at the picture in which Aman was smiling goofily at the camera while Aadhya looked surprised but there was a small smile on her face and Rishabh was looking at her lovingly with his arm around her shoulder.

He must have been lucky enough to get this photo with her like that.

He sighed sadly at their memories.

And then came her smile.

Wow!

He was a gone case when he saw her smile for the first time.

And he wanted to make her smile.

Always.

And he wanted to be the reason of her smile.

Her smile is the first thing that tugged his heart and after that he started to try to know her more.

She always stays guarded and her walls were high.....so that it took him weeks to just make her smile and it took him months to make her talk to him normally.

Knowing her more lead to developing feelings for her and within no time he was deeply and madly in love with her.

She was just amazing like that.

He kept sipping the alcohol.

The only thing she did which hurted him most was she didn't trusted him well enough to tell about herself and who she is actually.

And then there came his anger which made her go away from him.

He chuckled bitterly taking another sip of alcohol.
