conch swished his strong tail, rocketing out of the crowd. he looked back, the group of seawings followed him, flashing their scales brightly.

"icewing! Get out hybrid!" they said in aquatic. a large deep blue seawing darted in front of him. he rose up to his full height.  flow was a big SeaWing, respected.

"flow, why are you doing this," conch hissed "I thought we were in this together," he added quietly. flow scowled, scrunching up his face, conch thought he saw tears, but they were in the ocean.

"no, you've always been alone." he hissed "never again." then the bright color of the water and coral around him faded away into darkness.

-----

conch woke up, everything was throbbing, and flow and his gang were nowhere to be seen. he clutched his leg in pain, bubbles rose up in the water as conch tried to scream. no, no. he thought, as conch tried to swim to the surface. the waves crashed over him, bright lights flashed as he closed his eyes. no, I am a SeaWing. I will swim. he grunted and dived down under the water, the currents swept him away.

conch swam tiredly for days, not knowing where he was going. maybe I'll swim all the way over to the lost continent, he thought tiredly. conch closed his eyes, flashes of flow filled his head. conch refused to think about him, he opened his eyes and was delighted to see an island in front of him. his eyes blurred. are those dragons?  he felt himself slipping. I'm almost there.  suddenly strong arms pulled him out of the water.

tsunami. the lost princess.

"conch? What are you doing?" conch muttered something he could barely hear himself, his vision blurred and he blacked out. again.

 -----

conch woke in a different environment, it was hot. he felt sand under his scales.

"conch, is it?" a dragon with two wings that looked strangely like ones of a butterfly smiled at him.

"er, yeah." he stared at her wings. "you?"

"I'm atlas. from the lost continent."
