Erwin's POV
I tried to chase after Levi but he was too fast when I called him he didn't pick up and when I messaged him he didn't even see them. At that moment I was pacing up and down thinking of places he could've gone.

He left immediately after seeing something on his phone so it was probably a message. If you think about someone would only rush out of somewhere if they were worried or happy. Judging by the look on Levi's face he was probably worried. What kind of message would make him so worried he would leave without saying something? One from a hospital? That was it!
"Mikasa is anyone Levi knows in the hospital?" she thought for a second before answering,
"Our mum is, why?"
"Which hospital?"
"Shiganshina hospital, and like I said before, why?"
"Because that's where he is!" I shouted before I ran into my car and drove off.

I arrived at the hospital and went to the front desk, "Is there a patient with the last name of 'Ackerman' here?" I asked the person behind the desk. They looked down and flicked through a couple of papers until looking back up again,
"Room 127, floor 2." I thanked her and left to go to the elevator. I got off at the second hall and started checking room numbers, 124, 125, 126, 127! I opened it to see...

Hanji's POV
Erwin ran out of the room and left the rest of us standing there confused. I looked to Mikasa and she looked like she was still processing what had just happened. I don't blame her. There was a lot to unpack in what just happened, there were also many things you could take away from that. For example, you could see it as something bad had happened to Mikasa and Levi's mother. If you were more optimistic you could see what had just happened as there had been a positive change in their mother's condition (although that was highly unlikely from Levi's expression from when he got that message.

I was worried about both Levi and Mikasa but I'm sure Erwin will take of Levi so all of us needed to be there to support Mikasa. Armin and Eren were already one step ahead of us as they were already by Mikasa's side. But I would have expected that, after all, they were her closest friends.

Mikasa's POV
I wasn't sure how to feel. It was obvious that something bad had happened to my mum but I didn't feel anything. I wasn't close to my mum, I didn't have any memories of her. I was only 3 years old when she went into a coma, to me she was a stranger. A part of my life that was never there. She was kind of like unknown territory. Armin and Eren we're both beside me. They were trying to comfort me, but I didn't need comforting. I didn't want to say anything like that though, I was scared they were going to think I was an inconsiderate daughter and maybe even a terrible friend...
