Week 2, another week, another rap battle for the Boyfriend...
After defeating Daddy Dearest, the Boyfriend had been practicing in his room, day and night, for the next rap battle to come. Daddy Dearest had given him some advice about rapping and becoming a famous star. He told him that it would take some trial and error when it comes to rapping and sometimes it can take a while to find your style. But when you find your style, you can then get focusing on how to present your style and come up with suitable lyrics. Boyfriend thanked Daddy Dearest for the advice and decided to find some inspiration. So he'd listen to pre-existing rap songs and rappers to get some ideas on what style would be good for him. He spent hours on his computer, finding the right style. He liked any kinds of rappers. Preferably ones that didn't boast about how rich they were or how they can fuck a lot of girls. He was better than that. He wanted to be a kind of rapper that even kids could listen to without the parents scolding them for listening.
After doing some searching and coming up with nothing, he sighed and decided to take a break, laying on his bed and grabbing that M&Ms chocolate bar that he kept on his bedside table. He took a bite and thought about how his first hit would go. "Man...it's harder than you'd think...I really gotta try hard to come up with something good..." he sighed. "I need good shit. I want to be different than all the other rappers...maybe I could rap about my love for the Girlfriend...I'm sure she'd love hearing how I feel about her and hearing it in rap...yeah..I could go for that.." He smiled and sat up just as he got a phone call from none other than the Girlfriend. He reached for his phone and answered it.
"Hey, Girlfriend. How are you doing?"
"Hello, Boyfriend. I'm doing fine. I need to ask you a favour though."
"Oh? What is it?"
"Well you see? I've got two kids to babysit and they're a little hyperactive. Can you come over and help out?"
"Oh. Sure. I can help. How old are the kids?"
"Umm..well I'm not too sure but they dont look older than 12."
"I see. So we're just dealing with some really young kids huh? That's no problem. I'll be over at yours in five, okay?"
"Okay. Thanks. See you then."
"See you then."
The Boyfriend hung up and went to get ready. Maybe helping out with babysitting should help him come up with something. Besides, he wanted to appeal to kids when it comes to his songs. Plus it also gives him an excuse for maybe some Netflix and Chi- I mean, Netflix and ice cream! Don't- just shush!
Anyways, as the Boyfriend left his house, he pictured how things would go. Maybe he could try out something with the kids and see if they like his rapping. It might not be a great idea as kids get easily impressed, meaning they could like even the shittiest idea he had. But it's worth getting some feedback. So he took his mic with him, knowing the girlfriend will have the speakers she keeps. He also hoped the kids were sweet and kind. Last time he had to help with babysitting, he was tied to the ceiling fan and spun around so fast, he never felt so sick afterwards. All he could do was just wait until he got to his Girlfriend's house.
When he got there, he rang the doorbell and stood outside the porch, patiently. Seconds later, his girlfriend opened the door and he could hear the sound of two young boys giggling and screeching.
"Hi, Boyfriend. Please come on in." She said, stepping aside to let the boyfriend in, shutting the door behind her. The Boyfriend smiled at her, walking in and seeing two boys dressed up in halloween costumes. One a skeleton and one a pumpkin. The two kids saw the Boyfriend and rushed up to him, excited to meet him.
