"Your nightmare was about me, wasn't it?" Lavagirl said while looking at the ground.

"Not just you. I don't remember. I do remember one thing though..." Max said as he looked towards me.

"Plug hounds!" I yelled. Max and Lavagirl turned around to find Mr.Electric standing there with the plug hounds. We all ran to the shark bike and got on when we noticed that it wouldn't start.

"It's empty!" Sharkboy yelled.

"Fudge." I muttered.

"I forgot to dream of gas." Max yelled.

"Max!" I said with annoyance. We all got off of the bike and started fighting the plug hounds. I went by Sharkboy to help him out until I noticed that one of the hounds wrapped their cords around Lavagirl. I continued to fight until I heard her yell,

"Sharkboy, Storm, get me down from here!" Sharkboy turned to face her and yelled back.

"Can't you see we're busy?" Lavagirl ended up figuring out a way to get out of the plug hound's grasp.

"We don't have much fight left in us, Max!" Sharkboy yelled as he was holding his side and limping.

"Where's Lavagirl?" Max asked.

"It's up to you now, Max." I heard Lavagirl's voice coming from below me, so we all looked down and saw that she was a puddle of pink lava.

"Dream us out of here. We believe in you, Max." Max put his fingers on his temple, trying to dream us a way out. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sharkboy crossing his fingers hoping for what he wants.

"Shark boat with turbo boosters! Shark boat with turbo boosters!" I rolled my eyes as I stood behind Max and Sharkboy.

"A banana split?! Still hungry, Max? How about a knuckle sandwich?" Sharkboy said with his fist in the air.

"No, look! It's a banana split boat!" Lavagirl yelled.

"Then let's split!" Sharkboy yelled while trying to push the boat into the river.

"Ow!" I yelled as I fell. I tried to get back up, but I couldn't.

"Where is Storm?" Sharkboy asked.

"Sharkboy help!" I saw Sharkboy run towards me and picked me up bridal style and placed me on the boat.

"This is great, Max! You're starting to daydream. Keep that up, and they'll never catch us." Lavagirl said.

"Why not?" He asked.

"Learn to dream with your eyes open, and you won't have to be asleep to dream. You'll be able to make anything happen at any time." She explained. I saw Max start to eat the ice cream from the boat.

"Sugar will give you nightmares." I said looking at my hair that was continuing to fade. I saw him make a face and spit out.

"How much time do we have?" I asked Sharkboy.

"Don't even ask." He responded.

"The Dream Lair's across the Ocean of ice. We'll have to travel there by foot." Lavagirl explained.

"What else did you see in your dream, Max?" I asked.

"I saw an object shaped like... Give me something to draw with." Lavagirl held up her finger for him to use. He pointed her finger towards the huge scoop of vanilla ice cream and drew a heart.

"The Crystal Heart! That's the treasure of the Land of Ice! In the Ice Castle. It can freeze anything- even time." Sharkboy exclaimed as he let go of the cherry that was steering the boat. Lavagirl went and grabbed it.

"I've always wanted to freeze a moment in time."

"And the Ice castle's ruled by the Ice Princess. I hear that she's the most beautiful girl on the planet." Hearing Sharkboy say that set off a trigger of jealousy in my heart. I got upset and threw a fireball at his bottom.

"Ouch!" He exclaimed. Max and Sharkboy both turned around to stare at me with confusion.

"She is not! She is cold and cruel and cares for nobody but herself." I said with an aggressive tone. I looked towards Lavagirl, who was nodding her head, agreeing with me.

"She's just saying that, Max." He said as he rolled his eyes.

"Have you met her?" Max asked.

"No. But I know that we don't get along."

"How do you know that?" He asked.

"We're fire. She's ice. We must be enemies."

"We need that Crystal Heart. But I need you three to get it."

"I just hope this isn't a trap." Lavagirl muttered as she let go of the cherry and crossed her arms, facing away from us.

"Whoa!" We exclaimed as Sharkboy and Max regained the controls. They steered the boat to the Ice Castle, so we could retrieve that Crystal Heart.

"If we freeze time with the Crystal Heart, we'll be able to make it to the Dream Lair and save the planet." Sharkboy said.

"That's the plan." Max replied. We all walked a few more feet before stopping at the Ice Castle.

"Behold the Ice Castle! Home to the Princess of the Land of Ice." Sharkboy introduced.

"The Crystal Heart's inside the castle?" I asked.

"So they say." Sharkboy responded, looking amazed at the castle.

"Let's go!" I yelled as we ran to the bridge leading to the castle. Sharkboy, Max, and I were crossing since we were cool enough to walk across it. I noticed that Lavagirl was slowly starting to walk across when she got scared and ran back to where we were.

"It's no use. I'll melt the bridge! This place inflames me." She said.

"Can you cool down enough to get across?" I asked.

"I'd have to be asleep to do that."

"Can you try sleepwalking?" Max asked.

"My dream is to be on earth-but somewhere warm...and that earth will accept me...even...if I...destroy...everything I...touch!" She said as she was about to sneeze.

"No Lavagirl! Don't sneeze!" Sharkboy yelled as he ran up to her and placed his gloved finger under her nose. I sighed in relief when I heard a loud sneeze and a snore.

"Look. She's sleeping." Max said as we watched her walk across the bridge slowly. I noticed that Mr.Electric had found us once again. I saw them coming our way, but decided not to say anything until Max started yelling.

"They found us again! Lavagirl!" Sharkboy and I quickly covered his mouth with our hands.

"Shh! If she wakes up, she'll reheat. She can make it." Sharkboy reminded Max. I saw him struggling to say anything until he finally burst.

"Lavagirl! They're behind you!" Max and I quickly covered his mouth, but it was too late. Lavagirl had woken up and was furious. We all started screaming and ran across the bridge, but Mr.Electric had gotten to us first.

"It's a trap!" I yelled.

"You can almost feel the electricity in the air, can't you?"

"This is wrong. Someone else's dream are in here." Max said.

"Lights out." Mr.Electric said with an evil smile. The next thing I know, I wake up in the Dream Lair with everybody else being held captive.
