Chapter 11

I went inside and saw that Lavagirl was already there.

"Max! I am light. Thank you."

"You were always that. It had nothing to do with me."

"But now I know. So thank you."

"Max. You saved my life. If it wasn't for you remembering that riddle, I would've been gone forever. Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Okay, so she's light. Big deal. The real news is...what I am." Sharkboy said doing a superhero pose.

"Annoying?" Lavagirl said sarcastically. I couldn't help, but laugh.

"King of the Ocean." he responded.

"You do know that I'm also Queen of the Ocean right?" I asked. I saw his cheeks start to blush. I started walking towards his side while taking his hand in mine.

"And by the way, thanks for saving me." I placed a kiss on his cheek while he blushed with embarrassment.

"Cool." I laughed at his reaction.

"Everything will return to the way it was. You will be able to travel to Earth and back as you wish. You can search for your father. You can rule Earth's lava world." Minus told us with a nice smile on his face.

"What about me?" I asked him.

"I'm going to need your help in finding my father. Queen of the Ocean." Sharkboy said to me with a smile. I smiled back when I heard aw's around us.

"You guys are too cute." Lavagirl said with a smile. I placed my head on top of Sharkboy's shoulder as he put his arm around me. We stood there in comfort before I heard Mr.Electric's voice coming from behind us.

"And what am I to do, now that you're all buddy-buddy?" He asked.

"Mr.Electric can go back to being the good electrician of the planet." Minus responded.

"Oh, really? Plugging in power cords? Keeping this loud, obnoxious planet a happy place? You're dreaming!"

"I dreamt you up, and I can undream you." Max threatened.

"You think you can just snap your eyes open and make me vanish? Not so easy. I am the danger of dreaming. For every person that dreams up the electric light bulb, there's the one that dreams up the atomic bomb. This is one dream you won't be waking up from. I'm gonna put an end to this ridiculous tangent at its source!" Then he suddenly zoomed off to who knew where.

"Where did he go?" I asked. I saw Sharkboy pull out his device once to see where he was going.

"He's headed to Earth."

"He's going to try and destroy you in your sleep." Lavagirl added.

"In my sleep? You mean I'm asleep? All this time I've been asleep?" Max asked frantically.

"No. You're dreaming, Max." I said gently.

"With your eyes open." Sharkboy said as he continued my thoughts.

"Make the dream real. You can live out your dreams on Earth. Just like you made us real. Make it real. Blink your eyes three times." Lavagirl paused before she started the countdown.

"One..." She started as Max slowly blinked his eyes.

"Wait. What happens when...?"

"Two..." Sharkboy continued.

"Will I ever see you again?" He asked before I finished it off.

"Three..." I whispered with a small smile on my face. We all looked at each other before getting caught in the electrical storm and going down to Earth.
