"Captain, your orders," Cadet Nariem asks. The bridge crew turns to their captain. Many of them know Kristen well enough to know she's trying to devise a plan. Or half a plan.

"Plot an intercept course," Kristen sighs. Concern wafting off of her. The young captain heaves her body out of her chair as if she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. "Victorovich in my ready room,"

The Russian follows swiftly after his captain. Once in the confines of her ready room, Kristen begins muttering to herself. Options and solutions to this new problem.

Myles tries to catch his captain's gaze as she paces. One side to the other and back. All Myles can do is watch Kristen pace. She mutters a few more words under her breath. Not quite audible to human ears.

Finally, Kristen speaks. "I want you to take Harper, Phylo and Marlin over to the Earhart. Search for survivors,"

"Done," Myles dips his chin.

"Oh and Myles if you see Captain Sherry tell him I'm pissed,"

"Should I know the context or..."

"David was one of the only survivors of the Edison," Kristen plops onto a couch cushion. She leans to one side and rests her chin on her fist. "The other two are in a coma,"

"And your last connection to your parents,"

"Precisely," With Christopher Pike gone, David Sherry is the only link to Kristen's parents. A link Kristen is not willing to sacrifice. Not yet.

Kristen tells Myles to alert her when they arrive at the USS Earhart. The first officer nods. He turns on his heel and promptly leaves.

'Victorovich,' Kristen hails her first officer as they ready to beam over to the Earhart.

"Captain,"

Myles, Phylo, Harper, Lemuel Marlin, Asa Tokiko and Aslesha Behl, stop when their captain's voice calls for Myles.

Asa Tokiko is Phylo's second in command on his security team. She takes no shit from anyone, including her captain and superior officer. Her take-no-shit attitude has gotten her in trouble more than once, especially at the academy.

Aslesha Behl on the other hand is one-third of the Behl triplets. Aslesha is in security, her brother Ajaypal is an engineer and Nariem is a navigator. All three cadets are well on their way to becoming ensigns.

Then there's Marlin. Lieutenant Commander Lemuel Marlin or Marlin for short is Helena's most trusted nurse. He's been on more away missions than most in security. He's tough as nails and a sweet man in general.

The first officer motions for his team to continue onto the platform.

'You have two hours, no more no less. I don't want you taking chances,'

"Yes ma'am." Myles nods. He eyes Phylo and Asa. They know that was directed to them. They keep their eyes trained squarely on the floor.

'Godspeed.'

Back on the bridge, Theo turns his chair to face his captain. "Captain the Enterprise is hailing us,"

"On screen,"

'Captain Lee you missed our meeting,'

"I did?" Kristen asks racking her brain for the time. She'd check her watch but Kristen has been so preoccupied with the Edison she forgot to put it back on. "What time is it?"

'Half past six,'

"Shit, I was so caught up in the Edison, I forgot,"

'The Edison as in the ship your parents died on?'
