Here I am talking about there's no "Jewels" in it when we have shown the least resistance towards the most oppression. Yes I said it...OPPRESSION! Capital "O"pression! I'm not talking about the obvious oppression due to the systemic racism that is sadly and deeply engrained in our society from top to bottom. No, not that. That would be too easy and people are far too often ready to use the obvious as a focal point. Not me, not today. Think of this kind of oppression like this. If I'm the boss and I know I don't pay you a livable wage, by design, and you allow this, who's at fault? It would absolutely be you , me and whoever else allows themselves to be used in such a way. We get just enough "perks" to keep the ruckus down in the back, and we've grown to accept it as is. Not a single person should have to raise their hands to ask the question we're all thinking...WTF?
