"You've got to be kidding me!" Lynette said to Cathy as they walked the campus together. "Brent was in a field picking cotton?"

"I kid you not," Cathy said and showed her a picture she'd taken of Brent on her cell phone.

Brent was standing in the middle of a cotton field with no shirt on wiping the sweat off his brow.

Lynette burst out laughing. "Damn he fine even in a cotton field. I would ask if I can blow it up into a poster and hang it on my wall, but Randall would kill me if saw it."

Cathy laughed.

"It's no surprise they still do that in the delta part of Mississippi, I'm from Atlanta but I got folks in Mississippi too. You straight up a country girl. I knew by your accent, but I didn't know you that country..." Lynette teased.

"Hey just because you're from Atlanta don't mean you not country too," Cathy teased back.

"I'm a city girl. I ain't country," Lynette said.

They both burst out laughing at the "aint" part.

"All right girl, this is where we part. Talk to you later," Lynette told her as she turned to head to her building.

Cathy stood there holding her books and let out a depressed sigh. This would be her last year on campus surrounded by her friends. She was going to miss seeing them every day. She was going to miss this beautiful campus and her professors and the students and...

"Hey..."

She turned around to see Faze walking up to her and smiled. "Faze! I was wondering when you were returning."

"I got back last night with Hayden."

"How was your trip?"

"Great. L.A. is crazy man, you know two people came up to me offering me a job in modeling?"

"Well you definitely got the height and looks for it. I'm not surprise," Cathy told her.

Faze was six feet tall and had the body of a model. She was tall, slim and curvy and wore her hair in stylist bob. Like Cathy, her light skin had gotten tanner from being outside so much.

"Hayden chased them away. Guess he doesn't like the idea of his girl modeling," Faze stared down at Cathy examining her face. "What's up with you? You looked like you were about to cry after Lynette left. You ok? Is she ok?"

"We're fine. I just realized how much I'm going to miss you guys after we graduate."

"Oh is that it? Girl, I thought I was going to have to go after a bitch." Faze grinned and draped her arm around Cathy's shoulder and pulled her into a side hug. "Don't you dare start getting all weepy on us. We got a whole year together so let's make the best of it. We're going to miss you too, you know, but it's not like we're not going to stay in touch. We are always going to stay in touch ok?"

Cathy nodded too emotional to say anything.

Faze smiled and kissed her upside the head as they started walking together.

"Where you headed?" she asked Cathy.

"Back to the dorm to put my books down and then I have to drive to the city today."

"Oh yeah, you still interning for the advertising company."

Cathy nodded. "They're going to hire me after I graduate."

"That's great! Does Brent know?"

"Yes, he knows. He's so proud of me." Cathy blushed when she thought about how happy Brent was to hear that. He'd made such a huge deal over it by taking her out to dinner and buying her, her first business suit over the summer.
