False Idols part 1: The U.A Chronicles

I began walking towards the factory but couldn't see any signs of demons and I couldn't see either Olivia or Samuel.

Vega: keep going I know they're here.

I kept walking and soon heard some growls. I stopped and looked over and saw a demon with what seemed to be two rocket launchers on its shoulders.

Vega: those are revenants and I'll show you the demon library on your phone.

I pulled out my phone and he was able to send me all the information about the demons. There was more than I thought there was going to be but I shouldn't be surprised.  I quickly read through the list and saw what they looked like some scarier than the other.

Y/N: hey what do you want me to do?

Vega: what your dad did best.

Y/N: be less vague.

Vega: rip and tear.

I got my shotgun and blasted the revenant's right leg off its body. I then got my shield and slammed the revenant with it. It was on the ground as I chopped his head with my shield by slamming it on its neck. I then saw a code on and meat hooked it. I flew in the air and landed on it and leaped away from it. I got the ballista and used the arbalest mod. It connected and quickly killed it. I switched to the destroyer blade and it began to charge up and it took its sweet ass time to do it. I was falling faster than this charging up. I knew it took a while to get ready but damn this is going slow.

Y/N: can this go any faster.

Vega: when you master it'll go by a little quicker. And now it's done.

I fried the blast as it killed some zombies and damaged a mancubus badly. I got my shotgun and launched the meathook at it. Once I got close it slammed its canons on the ground blasted me away. I flew back into a tree and groaned a little.

Vega: I guess you haven't mastered it he meathook yet as well.

I got back up and ran at the mancubus I then chopped its head off as it fell.

Y/N: how do you master the meathook?

Vega: I'll attach to anything you can move up, left, or right. We'll practice now actually lookup.

I looked up and saw some weird floating thing in the air.

Vega: that's a grappling station fire the meathook at it.

I aimed at it and fired the meathook. It connected and I began to fly up. Vega wasn't giving me tips so I had to think. I could use the momentum to my advantage but I was getting close to the point. So in the last minute effort, I began to move left and soon the meathook was going along with my pattern and I flew up towards the left side of the building. I fell near the roof of the factory. I then groan realizing that a lot of my problems could've been fixed with the meathook.

Vega: are you okay?

Y/N: some of my problems could've been fixed with what I just learned.

Vega: anyways we aren't near Olivia or Hayden. I'll start a scan to try and look for them. Oh, turn towards your left.

I looked over and saw some drone thing.

Y/N: what's that?

Vega: that's one of my mod drones it'll be able to upgrade your ax. Look what I have to offer.

I looked and saw two options one is my grip that has better handling and I'm able to throw my ax and it can come back to me like how Thor throws his hammer. Or I'm able to have a smaller blade on the back that I can detach and use as a knife. I chose the grip I think it'll be more useful. Soon the drone just left us.
