2: Introductions

Your Perspective

"This is where you'll be working. I hope you get acclimated quickly" Ganyu said, showing me to the office room. I nodded and put down my belongings. I noticed Ganyu shifting somewhat awkwardly before straightening up and leaving wonder what that was about. Ganyu returns shortly after offering to show me around and get me introduced to other people around the workplace.

"Sure! Sounds like a plan!" I say cheerily. Ganyu smiles back and takes me at the hand, leading me to a group of people and introducing me to them. They're pretty welcoming to me and I got assimilated rather quickly. A lot of them were rather fascinated with the story of how I got to working there. The one with purple pigtails however didn't seem so pleased. Saying something about how only the best of the best are considered candidates for the Qixing. Something something, I'm not worthy. Ganyu quickly stops her from going and apologizes for her actions.

"S-She means well, (Y/N). This is Keqing, Yuheng of the Qixing. Keqing, meet (Y/N)." Ganyu says in order to try and diffuse the situation. Keqing let out a sigh and apologized for the rude meeting.

"Oh, it's all right! A place like this is bound to have incredibly high standards, so it's quite alright to judge future candidates." I said. Keqing agreed with me and nodded in agreement. "Well, if you're anything like your father, I'm sure you'll do just fine." Ganyu said piping in. Then she took me by the hand again in order to bring me to meet some more people. On the way there, Ganyu bumps into someone.

"Oops. O-Oh, L-Lady Ningguang! Apologies for b-bumping into to you!" Ganyu says frantically. I stifle a chuckle, and Ningguang tells Ganyu not to worry about it.

"So."

I stop my chuckling and turn to face her. Ninggguang is quite intimidating now that I've seen her up close.

"Y-Yes?"

"You must be the boy Ganyu was talking about. You must have made quite an impact on her for her to talk about how cu-"

"L-Lady NIngguang, please!"

"I kid, I kid. It is my pleasure to officially welcome you here," Ningguang says holding out a hand and I took and shook her hand. I chuckled and turned to Ganyu telling her I was flattered that she already thought so highly of me.

"O-Oh, It's nothing."

"Well, I'm gonna head for some food. You want to tag along?" I said to Ganyu. She glances to Ningguang for confirmation, to which she nods. I start walking away and Ganyu catches up shortly after.

"You know any good places?"

"Yes! There is this one restaurant I think you'd like, (Y/N)."
