None of these characters, settings or other belong to me. They are all J.K. Rowling's. Enjoy and sorry if it's not very good, it's my first ever fanfic :)

"Harry!" Hermione called from the third floor landing of the burrow.
"Could you come down here a minute please?"

"What do you need Hermione? I'm kinda busy!" replied a hassled Harry from the top floor; he was trying to get Teddy to sleep, and was failing miserably.

"Bring Teddy down with you and come here! We've got something to show you!" She yelled excitedly.
"Alright, alright I'm coming," Harry grumbled and came down to join her with a wriggling Teddy in his arms. "What is it that is so important it cannot possibly wait until I have put this little tyke to bed?"

"Follow me." Is all Hermione said, grabbing his hand that wasn't holding Teddy and dragging him to a door near the end of the landing which Harry had never noticed before. How can I have missed this door? Harry thought to himself, I've been coming here for years.

"Ron! Ginny!" Hermione bellowed down the stairs and they came bounding up giddily, Ron with a goofy grin on his face and Ginny squealing excitedly. She ran up to Harry and gave him a quick peck on the cheek and gave his hand that wasn't holding Teddy a brief squeeze.

"Is it time?" Ron asked, and in reply Hermione took Teddy from Harry and stood Harry in front of the door, facing them.

"Alright Harry. It's been a 3 months since the war ended, and no one can still ever thank you enough for what you did, with your bravery and -"

"Hermione," interrupted Harry, "I had a lot of help, you know that, and I couldn't have done it without you, and to be honest I was only doing what -"

"You bloody died and came back mate!" Input Ron, still grinning from ear to ear.
"Yeah, well . . ." Harry didn't know what exactly to say to that, so he didn't say anything and grudgingly he let Hermione continue.

"Harry, if you could have anything in the world, what would it be?" She asked gently.

"I would want everyone who died defeating Voldemort back again, my Mum and Dad, Sirius, Fred, Dumbledore, Remus and Tonks, and even Snape." He said quietly, wincing at the names of all those they had lost.

Ginny closed her eyes briefly when he said Fred's name. Everyone tried to avoid saying Fred's name if they could, especially around George and Ginny. The pain of his death seemed to linger with them the most out of everyone. Outwardly, at least.

"I was hoping you would say that!" Said Hermione, brightening up the little group again. She had been a rock for the Weasley's ever since the war ended, especially for Ron. Ever since she returned with her parents from Austrailia, their memories restored, she had focused on helping everyone with repairs and their grief.

"Now Harry in this room behind me is a thank you gift from all of us, and don't object!" She continued, to the look on his face which showed he was about to interrupt again.

Ginny then walked up to Harry, and, ignoring his protests, took his glasses off of his head and went into the room, and he heard her put them down somewhere in there.

She then came back and said "Harry, I've put your glasses somewhere in this room, all you have to do is find them and we will see you in a few hours, okay?" She said with an excited smile on her face.
"So now anything could be behind me, most likely something that I don't deserve and I can't see anything! Guys you know I'm as blind as a bat and I might just walk into a wall or step on them or-"

"Oh Harry stop worrying and go in!" Hermione insisted, and so he did.

Ginny gave him a kiss, a quick brush of her lips against his as he stepped over the threshold of the door, and then they closed it, leaving him, supposedly, alone.

Harry turned around. There didn't seem to be anybody in there. As far as he could see, he was in a small rectangular room with blue walls and a few tables and pictures on the wall.
He started looking for his glasses, muttering about how silly this was as he went along. Then, he started hearing other things in the room, voices and sniffling, as though someone was crying.

"Oh look James, he looks so much like you! Oh my little baby", Harry heard someone say, a woman, and he spun around immediately upon hearing it.

He still couldn't see anyone in the room but the voice sounded odly familiar and comforting, and he was sure he had heard it before. In the Forbidden Forrest with the Resurrection Stone. He looked more frantically for his glasses.

He finally found them, on the other end of the room on a small table, and spun around up against the wall to see what was in there, and what he saw made his heart stop and his breathing hitch.

There, on the walls, where he had thought were pictures, were portraits of all the ones he lost in the war. There was his mother, crying softly and his father, beaming at him. There was Remus and Tonks and Dumbledore beside them, and then on the other side, in a slightly bigger portrait, was Fred Weasley, in his ridiculous magenta robes that clashed with his hair magnificently. And beside Fred, was none other than a portrait of Severus Snape, in a smaller portrait, and he looked quite pleased to see him, which surprised Harry even further.

"Harry, sweetheart, how are you?" Said his mother, and that did it. Harry Potter, the man who defeated Voldemort countless times, who was the saviour of the world, started crying.

"Well done, my brave little boy, for all you've done. We couldn't be prouder if we tried" said James Potter, tears leaking out of his own eyes upon seeing his son again.

"Thanks, dad" Harry managed weakly, and then he said what he knew he would be shot down for saying, "I'm so so sorry. To all of you, that you died fighting him. I never meant for any of you to die." He looked at Remus and Tonks, ignoring the portraits protests around the room and said "With you just having had Teddy-" but Remus interrupted, saying, "Don't be sorry Harry, and it looks to me as though he is in great hands. I know we chose well." He finished, referring to the fact that Harry is Teddy's godfather.

"I promise you I will try to look after him as best I can, and be just as good a godfather as Sirius was to me." Said Harry, looking up to his godfather and saying, "I never thanked you, Sirius, for all you did for me. You were a father to me when I needed one and you helped me more than you know, and thank you as well for leaving me what you did in your will, that was-" but Sirius interrupted "Siriusly awesome of me" he said laughing, and everyone joined in, with Harry's father saying "Dear god, Padfoot, get some more material!"

After that he was talking to all of them, thanking them and being sorry, only to be shot down when he said the latter, and it felt like it had been only minutes when Ginny came in and told him that Teddy was screeching for him. At this, Harry leapt up and raced to him, making Harry's mother and Tonks cry and gush over how quickly he went to him.

Harry came back up with Teddy in his arms, and brought him over for Remus and Tonks, his parents, to see him. Upon seeing his mother, Teddy turned his hair bubblegum pink, and reached out to touch her painting. When his chubby little hand touched the painting, Tonks went as if to kiss his hand and teddy pulled it away, giggling and looking at his hand.

Harry looked over at Ginny, who was chatting to the portrait of Fred about everything and anything. She had told him that the Weasley's had already had their talks and tears with Fred's portrait. He gave her a soft kiss, as if to say thank you for doing this for him, and she pulled back after a second, looked at him and whispered, "You deserve it, Potter."
