7 Minutes In Heaven (Willex)

Hiding in the Loft

[A/n: I haven't posted in so long and this is kinda short sorry. Also this title --- ew.

Warnings: None I don't think ]

Willie's pov:

I start to hyperventilate. What'll happen if Caleb decides to look up the loft?

Alex turns to face me and grabs my hands gently. I continue staring at the ground with my labored breathing.

"Hey, just look at me. Breathe." He whispers softly.

I look up at him and try to ignore what's going on downstairs. I take a deep breath and he squeezes my hands.

"There you go." He breaths with me as I calm down. "Its gonna be okay."

I shake my head and bite my lip. "He knows I'm gone now and he'll be expecting me back in the next few days."

"I guess we have a lot less time than I thought we did." Alex sighs.

I suck in a sharp breath as another jolt hits me, and suddenly downstairs gets very quiet.

"Shit." I breath.

"What was that?" Caleb's voice calls out. I guess he hasnt left yet.

"Oh! That was umm, Alex! He was just, you know, getting his drumsticks." Julie laughs nervously.

"Really?" Caleb starts to make his way up the stairs and Alex turns to me.

"Go. Meet me back here in this same place in 30 minutes." I nod and before I poof out he grabs me and kisses me.

"Stay safe."

I smile at him and poof out.

Alex's pov:

Willie poofs out and I stand up out of our hiding spot right as Caleb enters the loft.

"Oh hello Alex! The band told me that you were -" he tips his head to one side. " -Getting drumsticks?"

"Yup." My voice shakes. I pull out my sticks from my back pocket. "I found them." I try to walk around Caleb to get downstairs but he blocks me.

"I heard that you are getting quite close to Willie at school, is there any chance that he's told you where he's been going for the past couple of days?"

I remember briefly that Willie said that Caleb could read minds, so I push all thoughts outside of my head except for confusion.

"Wait what? He's been going to school-"

"No. I mean where has he been sleeping. "

I gulp nervously. "I- I don't know."

Caleb nods slowly but doesn't look convinced. "If you do see him, tell him that he'd better return to the club before 3 days is up. Or else, he knows what'll happen."

"Y-yes I'll tell him that when I see him at school tomorrow." I dodge Caleb and climb down the ladder. I walk over to my drums and act as if I was glad I found my sticks.

"Look what I finally found guys!"

Reggie looks up, confused, but luckily Julie catches on.

"Oh my gosh finally! Took you long enough. We're playing Stand Tall, so get ready."

Caleb comes down from the loft. "Well I'd best be off. I need to find Willie." He poofs out and we all sigh in relief.

"Thank God he's gone." Reggie breathes. "I was starting to get tired of keeping an empty mind, there just so much to think about." His gaze flickers to Luke as he speaks, and Luke blushes.

"Shut up guys, in trying to think." I start pacing around the room. What if Caleb finds Willie? He probably wouldn't hesitate a second to force the answers out of him, and then he'd destroy him. Tears start cascading down my face and my breath becomes uneven.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Luke gently grabs my shoulders and forces me to stop pacing.  He rubs small circles on my back.

I look him in the eye and apparently it was obvious that I was thinking about Willie, because he says  "Willie's going to be fine Alex.  We're going to free him and then you two can be free to live the rest of your lives together."

He did not just say that-  I start blushing and bite my lip to stop myself from saying something I might regret. I shake my head at Luke and poof back up into the loft.

"I'm going to chill up here for a bit, I told Willie to come back here in half an hour." I call down. I sit down on my bed and wait nervously.

*time skip*

I look at my watch.

5:39

Willie should have been here 15 minutes ago.  I fall to the floor and start crying. Caleb must've found him.
