sakusa saw you walking around the halls of itachiyama institute with a mask and hand sanitizer, making sure to stay away from the other students.

he immediately caught interest. another germaphobe in itachiyama institute?? no way.

sakusa went over to his cousin, komori and looked at him.

"there's another one of me." he said rubbing hand sanitizer on his hands and glaring at the passing students.

komori gasped "no way!! you didn't know that our manager was a germaphobe??"

sakusa shook his head. "we have a manager?"

"she's usually cleaning her chair up at the top of the bleachers! i guess maybe you haven't seen her because she's so high up?"

"maybe." he muttered before rushing to his next class.

all day you were running through the wing spiker's mind. it was tiring.

during practice you were up by the bleachers writing the notes for the team before you were called down by the captain to discuss your notes.

"y/n please tell the team what you've picked up." he said sitting down.

"okay sir." you said standing two feet away from the sweaty volleyball players. "sakusa, you have to work on your strength when hitting the ball, it's good but if you wanted to get into the msby jackals then it needs to be a smidge stronger. komori, work on retrieving blocked balls up front...."

you finished telling the boys what they need to work on when sakusa came up to you

"hello?" you asked taking a step back from him.

"uh- i saw you at school and i was wondering, are you a germaphobe?" he asked wiping the sweat from his forehead with his cloth.

"oh- uh yeah i am, a-are you?"

"yeah i am... wanna go mask shopping later?"

"only if we can get sanitizer!"

"yeah we can, ill meet you outside after i clean up?"

"sure!" you grinned before wiping down the bleachers to sit closer to the team.

sakusa and you both left the gym to go to buy masks and sanitizer and it slowly became a normal thing. which is why you were worried when sakusa wasn't there at your usual meetup spot. komori was there instead.

"hey komori! d'you know where sakusa is?" you asked smiling to yourself

"he's a bit busy right now but i came here to keep you company! that is if you dont mind..." he said taking out a mask and putting it on

"sure lets go!" you said putting your mask on and walking to the store

"soo, you and sakusa... are you guys dating?" he asked

"no-" you said looking down, "kinda wish we were though..." you muttered to yourself, unluckily komori heard and mentally cheered.

"what'cha say?" he asked, "you got quiet there-"

"oh nothing! don't worry about it!" you chuckled nervously.

"okay-" he said "oh yeah by the way wanna go surprise sakusa with a sleepover?"

"i mean- would he mind??" you asked worriedly

"not at all!! c'mon lets gooo~!!" he said walking over to the direction of their house.

"fine" you sighed and followed the boy to his cousin's house.

"sakusa come see who i found!!" komori called out as you guys walked in to the pristine house.

sakusa came out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped loosely around his waist. he saw you and sprinted off to his room in embarrassment. he quickly got dressed and walked out after calming himself down.

"hi?" he said, seeing you cover your face with your hands hiding a blush.

"hi." you said in a small voice

"uh- i hope i didn't make you uncomfortable" he said sitting a reasonable distance away from you in respect.

"oh no you didn't i just wasn't expecting that..." you said taking your hands of your face.

an awkward silence enveloped you two.

"just kiss already!" komori yelled from the kitchen

you looked at sakusa with wide eyes as he blushed

"cmon cowards!!" he said with amused eyes as you two inched near each other

"i... really like you y/n." sakusa said

"i like you too" you smiled before you two shared a quick kiss as komori cheered

"FINALLY!" he said handing both of you face wash so you both could wash your faces.

"so thats why you bought face wash?" you asked hugging sakusa

"yep!" he said grinning.

you and sakusa became the 'germaphobe couple' and everyone squealed when he held you pinkie with his own.
