Stewards continued to bang on the doors of first class rooms, snapping them open and then give first class passengers lifebets followed by an order to immediately dress up and go outside.

"Lifebelts on! Put your lifebelts on! Come on, everybody!" Said steward as he walked through rooms and corridors of the first class.

First class passengers stepped out into the corridors, looking at each other confused while whispering between the stares and frowns. Some of them tried asking stewards what was that all about and what was so important that it had to interrupt their sleep, but like always, stewards would dodge the question and tell passengers to just listen to Captain's orders. Meanwhile, Captain walked into the wireless room hurriedly. Eduard and Tolys looked like they were waiting for him.

"Send out the call of assistance." Captain said as he took a Marconigram and wrote the danger that they're currently in, together with location of the ship.

"CQD, sir?" Eduard asked.

"Yes, the distress call. Tell whoever respons that we're going down by the head and that we need immediate assistance." Captain responded before he left the wireless room.

Eduard and Tolys quickly turned to their job, sending calls of distress across the cold, dark ocean. It was scary, every second of silence felt like they were completely alone in this deadly event; but this is all they had left, to call for help.

"Any luck?" Tolys asked.

"Frankfurt, 150 miles away. The Olympic says that Mount Temple is nearer." Eduard said as he picked up the answers of their panicked calls.

"There must be someone nearer. Try sending S.O.S. call. That is probably the only chance we have right now."

...

Meanwhile, a decent amount of first class passengers gathered around the Grand Staircase, still searching for answers to what was happening. Stewards and crew members all dodged their questions as they hurriedly walked around, worry on their face clearly present despite their effort to stay calm. Dražen and his family were in that group too, looking around in wonder and whispering words between each other

"Will anybody tell us what's happening!?" One french man asked as he looked at a steward who kept ignoring him.

"Yeah, this is absolutely ridiculous!" One chinese man voiced his opinion too.

"I think nobody knows what the hell is going on in here..." Dražen's mother whispered as she looked up at her husband and son.

All of them were focused on the current situation except for Mrs. Hèdervàry, she was busy looking around for Elizabeta who was nowhere to be found. She got sick worried, Dražen's parents tried to reassure her that she is most likely already up on the deck like they thought before.

Dražen's eyes were slowly moving around as his heart raced with fear. He didn't know what to think. He wasn't sure about what was happening, but he knew it must be something bad. Soon, Dražen spotted Mr. Kirkland passing by. Dražen wasted no time before he went after him, Mr. Hèdervàry following him closely as he noticed Mr. Kirkland's distress too.

Slowly, like a child, Dražen got closer to Mr. Kirkland and grabbed his arm.

"Mr. Kirkland?" Dražen asked, taking his attention.

"Oh, Dražen, it's you..." Mr. Kirkland said as he tried to fix his disheartened posture, but he knew that Dražen caught on his behaviour.

"I saw the iceberg Mr. Kirkland and I can see it in your eyes...Please, tell me the truth." Dražen pleaded as he waited for an answer, trying to keep his patience steady.
