I was running in the woods while my dads last word was repeating in my head. "Run!" I don't even know where he wanted me to go or how long I've been running for, but something told me I shouldn't stop. The branches were cutting into my arms but I paid it no attention unfortunately I didn't notice the root protruding from the ground, and I tripped going down a hill smashing my head against a tree falling unconscious.

Flashback

I was sitting in my room reading a book when I heard a knock at my door. "Y/N dinners ready." my dad said from the other side of the door. "Alright I'll be down in a minute." I said while I finished the chapter I was on. I went down stairs and saw my father sitting down at the table so I went to sit down in the chair, and started eating burgers. "So Y/N how does it feel being close to turning 14?" My father asked. "It feels okay... dad who are my real parents?" my dad stopped eating and looked at me with look of surprise. "How did you find out?" he questioned me while looking around like someone was listening in. "I found the letter that you 'tried' to hide." I gave him the answer. He looked at his plate before looking at me with a sad look in his eyes. "You would have some questions, and I'll tell you these things first. I haven't met your parents in person, and your mother said that why you have heterochromia eyes is from her side of the family." He said. I stayed seated until I asked him another question. "Do they really love me?" I asked. He looked at me and cleared his throat "They do." he gave a brief answer  "Then why did they leave me, why did they never put I love you son in the letter?" he cleared his throat again and rubbed his eyes then looked at me. "There were more letter's that explai-" We heard the glass break upstairs then the sound of someone breaking and tossing things around, and my dad put his finger up to his lips. He slowly got up walking towards the stairs picking up the baseball bat as I was getting to the stairs, and he motioned me to stay where I was as he started going up stairs after a bit of time I didn't hear anything until. "RUN!" My dad yelled then I heard someone yell, and after that my dad was rolling down the stairs a ton of small cuts with the blood on the floor getting bigger by the second, and someone on top of the stairs but they were wearing a white mask so I never saw their face I wanted to help my father, but I wouldn't be able to do anything. Looking back up the stairs the stranger was holding a sword so I opened the front door and ran as fast as I could.

Flashback end

When I open my eyes all I saw was a light blue sky with branches within my line of sight, so I tried getting up but was getting dizzy I just sat back down against a tree taking a few deep breaths until I felt like I was able to go. When I got up I wanted to go back but I didn't remember which way my house was, so I decided to walk in a random direction.

Somehow I ended up finding myself back home and the front door was wide open with a bloody streak going out the door. "Dad?" I called out, and when I looked where the body was it was gone but the blood was still there. I went looking around the house not finding much then I went upstairs the walls were covered in sword marks, and when I looked at my fathers door which was slightly opened so I approached it slowly.

When I opened it the window was broken and the place was ransacked like someone was looking for something, and the desk was flipped and everything in the closet was thrown about, but the bed was slightly moved whatever it was looking for was interrupted before it could fully search the bed. I walked up to the bed to try flipping the mattress it was heavy, but I was able to flip it not noticing anything until I saw the mattress looking a little off looking closely, and it was stitched together grabbing the scissors on the floor I cut opened the mattress to find a box fall out. Opening the box I found a letter and when I took out the letter there wasn't anything else until I put it somewhere only to here something else moving around in the box, so I picked up the box and moved it around confirming that something else was still in it. After a bit of trying to find how to get the last thing out of the box I tossed it only to break and reveal a weapon of some sort, picking it up in my hand I found a place to put it on top of the dresser and started reading the letter. "As you have read from the first letter is for my son when he turns 14, and this second letter is for the parent taking care of him I couldn't take care of my son because I am being hunted, and his father can't take of him because of reasons that I will be keeping private. Now the reason I am being hunted is because of my family's bloodline, and if my son is ever discovered then those that are hunting me will keep try to find him putting those around him endanger. Please protect him from being found there is a house in the woods that should be safe for him, and when he turns 14 take him to camp half-blood, and their is weapon in the box and it's a spear that's been passed down in my family for a very long time, and how you can gain access to the spear is by opening the false bottom in the box." Looking at the letter then the box I just stood there and thought to myself 'Someone glue that false bottom.' before continuing with the letter. "There will also be a third letter for you that will go into more details about camp half-blood as well as questions you might have please burn the third letter after reading it and thank you for taking care of my son. Also please hide the box." After finishing the letter I just went to the bathroom putting my hands on the edge of the sink as thoughts raced through my head. 'Why did they take the body, who was that person, who is hunting my mother, who was my real father?'

Looking at the mirror I looked like shit my h/c hair was messy and the blood on my face was already dried and was mostly covering the right side of my face. My right eye was blue but my left eye was e/c because of that I kept it covered as some people in school thought it was strange. Turning on the sink I washed my face then fixed my hair using my bangs to cover my left eye then putting it in a short ponytail, and I turned off the water taking one last look before I went to find a backpack. When I found one I got supplies and change into different clothes as the other ones were covered in dirt and some blood. I started walking towards the door I also started putting the spear in a safe place and when I found a place it was easy to reach, so I took a few steps outside before I turned around staring at the house then started talking hoping he might hear me. "I know your not my real father but you still took care of me and that makes you a father to me thank you." Turning around I started walking outside to hopefully find where this camp half-blood and to find out who my real family is.
