Inside the cabin was packed with people, and there were not enough beds in the cabin so the floor was littered with sleeping bags. Chiron was outside considering the door was too low for him. But when the campers saw him they respectfully bowed. "Well then, Percy, Y/N. Good luck I'll see you at dinner." he then left towards the archery range.
"Well? Go on." Annabeth told us and Percy was in front of me, so he went in first only to trip going through the door and some of the campers snickered. "Percy Jackson and Y/N..." Annabeth never heard my last name. "I-I don't have one." She looked confused before nodding and continued. "... Meet cabin eleven." Annabeth finished and someone spoke up. "Regular or undetermined?" Having no idea what to say Annabeth spoke for the both of us. "Undetermined." And everyone groaned.
Then an older looking guy came forwards. "Now, now campers. That's what we're here for. Welcome, Percy and Y/N. You can have that spot on the floor, right over there." He said with a friendly smile. "This is Luke." Annabeth said with an almost different tone to her voice. Smirking I looked to see Annabeth blushing a bit until she saw both Percy and I then her face returned to normal. "He's your counselor for now." She said. "For now?" Percy asked. "You're both undetermined. They don't know what cabin to put either of you in, so you're here. Cabin eleven takes all newcomers, all visitors. Naturally, we would. Hermes, our patron, is the god of travelers." As Luke explained Percy looked towards the empty spot where we were going to sleep. "How long will we be here?" Percy asked not liking how some of the campers were looking at us. "Good question. Until you're determined." Luke answered. "And how long would that be?" I asked and the campers started to laugh at my question. "Come on. I'll show you both the volleyball court." Annabeth told us. "We've already seen it." Percy responded, but Annabeth wasn't taking no for an answer and grabbed Percy's wrist and I followed along outside.
"Jackson, Y/N you have to do better than that." Annabeth said after we were a few feet away. "What?" I asked. She mumbled under her breathe but I wasn't able to catch it. So I decide to lie down in the grass and let them argue I honestly didn't care until I was kicked in the ribs by Annabeth. "What?" I said. "You should be listening." She said getting pissed off. "I am, something something half-blood." I said. "You are unbelievable." She said and before I could retort another voice called out. "Well! Newbies!" Looking towards the voice I stood up seeing a girl walking up with three other behind her wearing these camo jackets.
"Clarisse. Why don't you go polish your spear or something?" Annabeth said. "Sure, Miss princess, so I can run you through with it Friday night." Clarisse responded. "Erre es korakas!" Annabeth said back in Greek which surprisingly I understood... Wait she said something about dyslexic being able to read ancient Greek... I guess I wasn't listening. "We'll pulverize you." She said before looking at both Percy and I. "Who's the little runt and the guy?" Clarisse asked. "Percy Jackson and Y/N. Meet Clarisse, daughter of Ares." Annabeth introduced us. "Like... The god of war?" Percy asked. "You got a problem with that?" Clarisse sneered. "No, it explains the bad smell." I snorted a bit before laughing a bit and it pissed off Clarisse a lot. "We got an initiation ceremony for newbies, Prissy." Clarisse growled. "Percy." Percy corrected her error. "I guess they ain't that smart if she can't remember your name." I said to Percy as he chuckled a bit.
"Come on, I'll show you." Clarisse said. "Clarisse-" Annabeth tried to say something but was stopped. "Stay out of it, wise girl." Annabeth did stay out of it and Percy handed Annabeth the horn and got ready for a fight... Only for Clarisse to have her hand on his neck and dragged him towards the bathroom. "Get his friend."
As she walked the three of her friends started walking towards me. "Annabeth go check on Percy." I said and she nodded and quickly ran towards the bathroom. One of the girls tried to grab me but I leaned to the left while pushing her right hand away with mine and struck her chin with my left as she fell to the ground. The other two stopped and stared in shock before gaining their composure and charged me, so I moved to the right using the second girl to block the third as I kicked her shin and elbowed her nose, and the third girl was hesitant to even do anything. "Don't worry I'll get Clarisse to help you move your friends." I said while walking away.
