Time For A Quest

Both Percy and I were moved the next morning into our respective cabin, him going to the third one and me into the first one. It was pretty empty at least the cool thing besides the giant statue in the middle was that I have the whole place to myself pick any activities, sit at my own table and call lights out when I want. At least Clarisse visits sometime, but I've been worked to the bone with sword training with Percy and Luke, then learning Greek with Annabeth wasn't that great anymore as she Mumbled while walking away. Over all it seemed like that everyone stayed away from us, but Percy and I still talked to each other. Laying in bed I stared at the ceiling until I got bored. "Fuck it, let's see what Percy's up to."

Leaving the cabin I knocked on the door of number three until Percy answered, but before I said anything I heard Grover beside me. "Come in." Percy said as we walked inside. "Mr. D wants to see both of you." "Why?" Percy asked. "He wants to kill... I mean, I'd better let him tell you." "You can't just say that and... Never mind let's go."

Leaving towards the big house, and it was darker than usually because of the on coming storm. Everyone had been doing what they've been normally doing, but seemed tense with the storm. Walking up the Porch Dionysus sat at the table like he was on the first day I was here. "Well, well. Our little celebrities." He said without looking at us. "Come closer, and don't expect me to kowtow to you, mortals, just because old Barnacle-beard and lighting-beard is your father's." Lightning flashed across the clouds clearly Zeus wasn't happy.

"Blah, blah, blah." Dionysus said as Chiron pretended to be more interested in the cards and Grover was cowering by the railing. "If I had it my way, I would cause your molecules to erupt in flames. We'd sweep up the ashes and be done with a lot of trouble. But Chiron seems to feel this would go against my mission at this cursed camp: to keep you little brats safe from harm." "Spontaneous combustion is a form of harm, Mr. D." Chiron jumped in the conversation. "Nonsense. The boys won't feel a thing. Nevertheless, I've agreed to restrain myself. I'm thinking of turning Percy into a dolphin and Y/N an eagle, and sending you both to your father's" Chiron spoke up again. "Mr. D-" "Oh, alright, there's one more option. But it's deadly foolishness." Dionysus rose from his chair. "I'm off to Olympus for the emergency meeting. If both the boys are still here when I get back, I'll turn them into their animals. Do you both understand? Perseus Jackson and Y/N, if you're smart, you'll see that's much more sensible choice than what Chiron feels you must do." Dionysus then picked up a playing card and changed it into a security pass before disappearing as he snapped his fingers. "I don't know whether to be happy he said our names right or scared of his threat... Maybe both."

"Sit both of you. And Grover." We sat down in the empty seats as Chiron spoke. "Tell me, Percy. What did you make of the hellhound?" "It scared me, If Y/N Hadn't intervened I'd be dead." "I think Chiron wouldn't have let that happen." I told Percy. "You'll meet worse, both of you. Far worse, before you're done." "Done... With what?" Percy asked as I leaned in curious. "Your quest, of course. Will you accept it?" Chiron asked, and before Percy asked I put my hand on his shoulder. "We need details first, Chiron." Percy nodded at what I said as thunder rumbled across the valley.

"Poseidon and Zeus are fighting." Percy said. "They're fighting over something valuable... Something that was stolen, aren't they." This caused Chiron and Grover to look at each other then Chiron sat forwards towards Percy. "How did you know that?" I saw that Percy's face was a bit red in embarrassment but he still answered. "The weather since Christmas has been weird, like the sea and the sky are fighting. Then I talked to Annabeth, and she'd overheard something about a theft. And... I've also been having these dreams. " "I knew it." Grover said as Chiron quickly ordered. "Hush satyr." "But it's his quest! It must be!" Grover said as his eyes were bright with excitement. "Only the Oracle can determine. Nevertheless, Percy, you are correct. Your father and Y/N's father are having their worst quarrel in centuries. They are fighting over something valuable that was stolen. To be precise: a lightning bolt." Percy laughed while I began to think.
