{Newt's POV}

I turn back to Gally after making sure y/n is out of earshot. 'Hey Gally. Do you remember everything from before?' I say my nerves growing slightly. He just smiles and nods. 'Most stuff yea, the important bits. So yes I definitely remember our last conversation before the maze if that's what you wanted to know'

*flashback*

The sun is setting over our little town but there's still partying down below and lights flashing in the distance from the wedding we've just left, everyone in town was invited. Y/n wore this beautiful dress and she just looked perfect in it.

Me and Gally are sat on the roof of my house, right next to his and y/n's family house. We can see in through y/n's window and I shout down to her. 'Hurry up love we wanna go to the treehouse!' She comes into view and looks up at us through the open window. 'I'm trying to change but my dress zip is stuck!' She moves out of view again and Gally laughs next to me. 'Newt would love to help you with that.' He winks at me just as y/n comes back into view again and smiles. 'Newt wouldn't have the balls to do that.' I wink at her and lift myself down onto a lower platform before jumping off.

I climb in through her window like I'm used to doing and she smiles at me and pulls me towards the mirror on her wardrobe. Standing in front of it, she grabs all her hair and moves it to one side, holding her other hand on the front of her dress ready for me to unzip it. I smile at her in the mirror for a second before grazing my hand up her back and slowly unzipping her dress. I go to turn around and leave out the window again but she voice stops me. 'I had a good time tonight.' I turn around and smile. 'Yea, it was a good wedding.' She shakes her head slightly. 'No...dancing with you. That was my favourite part of the whole night.' She takes my hand and squeezes it softly before turning to go to change. I climb out the window and join Gally again.

He shakes his head slightly and chuckles to himself. 'What?'

'When are you going to tell her man?'

My heart beats a little faster. 'Tell her what?'

His smile fades slightly. 'Don't pretend man, I know you better than anyone, except y/n of course. You know exactly what I'm talking about.'

I swallow hard and sigh. 'Tell her what? That I love her with all my fucking heart. That I've always loved her. That there's never going to be anyone else for me. That she's it. She's the one. That she's so perfect to me and she fills this fucking hole deep inside me. That everything makes sense when I'm with her. Tell her all of that? And possibly bloody lose her? I can't Gal. I just can't. Not yet.' I hang my head in the hands and I feel him pat me on the back.

'You know you guys are made for each other right? She loves you too, I can tell.' Hope flickers inside me.

I lift my head and turn to face Gally. 'You really think she loves me back?' The tiny bit of hope getting the best of me.

He nods slowly. 'Yes. I do. But you need to go after her and tell her how you really feel. Maybe not right now but sometime soon okay man?' I smile slightly and nod to him. 'I will. I just want it to be the right time. I don't want to mess this up.' He smiles knowingly and looks out into the now inky blue sky.

'She really is it for me Gally...I'm going to marry that girl one day...'

He smiles widely. 'I already think of you as a brother man. I better be best man though or you're dead.'

I laugh and nod at him just before y/n climbs out of her window and looks up at us with those amazing, sparkling eyes. I love her, and one day I'm going to just bloody tell her.

*end of flashback*

'I told her I love her Gal. She said it back and I've never been this happy to be alive...I meant what I said you know. One day, I'm going to marry y/n...As long as she'll have me.' He smiles at me like he did before the maze. A smile full of trust and hope.

'Don't be a klunkhead. Of course she'll have you. Now go on, she's waiting for you.'

I nod and walk back to our hut. The lights are off, y/n might already be asleep so I try to be quiet. Slowly taking off my shirt and jeans and throwing them to the corner of the room. I feel someone jump on my back and I'm consumed with the smell of vanilla and chocolate. Y/n. I smile and hold her arms that are wrapped around my neck. 'I thought you'd be asleep love.'

'And not get to do this before bed?' She climbs down and leads me to the bed, pushing me down to sit on it, straddling me and wrapping her arms around my neck again. She leans in and kisses me her body pressed against mine. My hands move from her hair to cup her ass and lift her up, lying her down on the bed, caged between my arms on either side of her. My breathing is fast and a triumphant smirk forms on her face. 'Not tonight love, trust me I want to do everything with you, when I'm done you won't be able to remember your own fucking name. But you were so tired earlier, you need sleep okay?'

Her eyes flash with desire before she groans slightly and snakes a hand around my neck pulling me closer, her lips an inch away from mine. Just as I think she's going to kiss me again she leans closer to my ear and whispers. 'Okay daddy, but tomorrow I'm all yours.' She pulls back and that smirk is still on her face. Come on Newt, she was tired earlier you can't do this. She needs sleep. But maybe-
