🦋Remember that life's greatest lessons are usually learned from the worst times and the worst mistakes.🦋

Today was a pretty decent day, at least on your behalf. You woke up at an appropriate time, had your clothes ironed nice and neat, and you look presentable. In your eyes, you found yourself attractive.

Your new job wasn't as bad as you thought it was. Yes, you were busier than ever but it kept you moving. And you liked to move because the more occupied you were, the more time flew by faster.

And that was because your mind wasn't focused on the time ticking on the many clocks that were placed on the walls inside of your boss's building.

Speaking of him.

You kept things as formal as possible. You didn't want to stand out of place pr do anything out of the ordinary. This was a place of business and that's where you should do your business.

This is a career, not a job.

You wanted to take things seriously and you wanted to let everyone else know that you were taking it seriously by doing it with your actions.

You made phone calls, set up appointments, organized sheets, made coffee for your boss, and everything else that he asked for.

Inside of his office was extremely quiet and still.

He sat in his office with thoughts running through his mind placing him on a crumbling piece of land, slowly pushing him to the edge of a cliff as he looks down at the world beneath his feet.

Everything was too strong for him. His eyes felt sensitive at all of the light that was going through the windows of his office.

He walks slowly towards the windows and look around and placed his hand on it, holding him up so he wouldn't fall.

He felt weak and extremely tired.

He didn't know how much he could take.

He drunk some of his coffee that you brought him but it felt like it wasn't enough.

But he can't just call out like he was just one of his workers because he could always get someone to fill in for them to handle the rest of their work.

But his job? He was the boss. He already missed out on so much work, he can't just leave now.

He was gradually getting back up with everything but it felt like everything was about to drop low. He hasn't eaten anything and hasn't been getting any sleep.

There were countless sleepless nights. He would lay in bed and stare at the ceiling. His eyes couldn't close and he felt paranoid. And whenever he did got the chance to sleep he would always wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat from the nightmares that would never end.

He felt like demons were reaching out for him trying to get him to sell his soul, and if he refused they would steal it from him and feed off of it.

Ray grabbed his head and groaned softly.

You walked out of the elevator and came inside of his office to see him grimacing while holding onto his head.
