"In an interesting turn of events, class 1-A's Technoblade has decided to face the hoard of students! He hasn't showed off his quirk yet but has proven a formidable force!" Present Mic was having blast commentating over the poor kids being beaten half to death. So was the pig man

Dream had already started to move past the robots blocking the path, along with the more mobile students. Every little thing that happened in this world made him wish he had a stacked inventory. The masked man used his sword to bust through the frozen machines.

Now that he realised, most of his own class was right behind him. That villian attack sure brought out the courage and determination in everyone. A large bomb echoed from behind him

Yaoyorozu was standing calmly by a cannon. She can make entire military grade weapons strong enough to beat these robots?! Dream shook his head and moved along. He wasn't a speedrunning champion for nothing

"The first barrier was a piece of cake?! What about the second one?!" The commentator yelled through the speakers at every student near the second stage.

The masked man's arms dangled against his side's. A ravine like pit in the middle of the path prevented him or anyone else from being able to move on. Very thin strips of wire hung from several small islands. It reminded Dream mostly of the end islands. He looked down, heart broken.  Where were his Ender pearls when he needed them?

Someone giggled behind him.

"Here it is! Here's my chance to show off! It's time for my support items to be in the limelight! Look, all you support companies across the country!" Dream just stared at the odd girl. That's right, the support students were allowed to bring their gadgets and tricks. Without warning, the student flung herself fowards and over the ravine. Unbalanced by the force of her movements, he quickly tipped over the side. The masked man swiftly shoved his blade into the side of the cliff to break his fall.

A sweat bead rolled down his face. That was little too close for comfort. Dream looked up and saw Techno peering down at him

"Well, see you at the end then, last place" the pig man snickered and expertly walked over the tight ropes. The man seemed to be almost a jack of all trades somehow. The blonde man grit his teeth at him

A dip in the cliff face stopped him for a moment. It looked big enough to fit something small inside. Out of dumb curiosity, the masked man put his hand inside and felt around. Something round and smooth connected with his palm. He quickly pulled it out and began clawing up the ravine.

"Huh, what do you know.." a greenish, blueish orb sat on the palm of his hand, a slit like an eye through the middle. It was an Ender pearl no doubt, but how did it get here? A large pile of students were still heaped over eachother closer to the start of the race. The pink haired man just halfed the numbers basically, and the other half was already on the tight ropes

Dream raised his arm and threw the orb as hard as he could to the other side of the hole. It soared over people's heads and shattered infinitely on the other side

As it shattered, the masked man slowly started turning into small partical like pieces, and the broken pieces of the pearl swirled into a human form. Dream was now on the other side, far ahead of most others.

Then nausea took over. This certainly was different then normal. Perhaps it was the rearranging of his own particals or something. He leaned over the barrier for a few moments but went back to race quickly. The masked man would be disappointed in himself if he lost a race

Techno was staring at Dream from across the cavern. It was a kind of mock anger. He pointed accusingly at him then back where he had been before he used the pearl. Dream guessed he wanted know how he got his hands on one. The speedrunner just smirked and turned around to the next obstacle.
