"Now, take a look at the results!" Midnight tilted her head to indicate the scores on a large screen

Class A : Technoblade 1st

Class A : Izuku Midoriya 2nd

Class A : Shoto Todoroki 3rd

Class A : Clay Rodgers 4th

Class A : Katsuki Bakugo 5th

Class B : Ibara Shizaki 6th

Class B : Juzo Honenuki 7th

Class A : Tenya Iida 8th

Class A : Fumikage Tokoyami 9th

Class A : Hanta Sero 10th

The list went on for the total amount 44 students who managed to get past the first course. 

"The top 44 made it through to the next round. Don't worry if you didn't make it though, we've prepared other chances for you to shine!" Midnight paused for a moment to kick her lips

"The real competition begins next! Give it your all!" She flung her whip at the monitor which was now prepared to give the competitors their next challenge.

Cavalry battle

A teamwork based event, huh? Not Dream's best hours but he could make it work. Techno might be able to if he doesn't scare them away first

"The participants can form teams of two to four people as they wish. It's basically the same as a regular cavalry battle, but the one thing that's different is... Based on the results of the last game, each person has been assigned a point value!"

The provocative hero smirked as she showed the point value for first place.

"Ten million!"

As if everyone was linked through one mind, every pair of eyes turned to where the pig man was standing amongst the group. Most eyes were filled with determination to gather those large sum of points

"That's right. It's survival of the fittest, with a chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!"

Technoblade appeared unfazed. He probably could tear most of these students apart pretty quickly if they approached him during battle.

"Now then, I'll explain the rules of the the cavalry battle. The time limit is 15 minutes. Each team is worth the total of its members' points, and the riders will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many points as they can. Stolen headbands must be worms above the neck. Even if your team's headband is stolen, you can still participate! Now, build your team!"

Dream could immediately spot people grouping up with who they were familiar with. Some others were struggling but still managed to find a group. The teams had to be two to four... Maybe Techno was still free. 

The pink haired man was unsurprisingly being surrounded by other students who wanted the points on their team. If they had a powerful rider with the million points they wouldn't end up losing them. After a quick look, many backed away from the pig man's gaze. Except a purple haired insomniac

"How about you be apart of my team?" A simple question like what the others were asking. Technoblade looked down at Shinso

"Nah, I think I'll be good" the purple haired student's eyes widened the tiniest bit, almost barely noticeable. Dream watched him slowly walk away after his offer was declined. He obviously tried to do something yet did not succeed.
