Stranded and Scared // The Dead Apocalypse

Chapter 4

"I uh.." I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell them.

"Well?" Minx said, putting a hand on her hip.

Well she's sassy.

"Was visiting my father, ship got.. destroyed by a tsunami." I said. "Woke up on the beach."

My hands were in surrender position.

"You don't know what's going on, do you?" The pinkette said.

"No.." I said.

"Those monsters out there, they're killing machines." Minx said.

"My friend and I call the mobs." I said.

"Monsters, mobs, whatever." Minx rolled her eyes.

"You should stay with us." The pinkette said.

"What!? Why? What about my friend!?" I said.

"We're trapped in here because of you. Let's go before they knock down that door as well." The pinkette grabbed my sleeve and dragged me with him.

"We should just take his stuff and throw him out into the bastards." Minx said.

"The more people, the stronger. We're going to build up our group." The pinkette said.

"Why did I bother going with you guys?" The black haired said.

We got onto the rooftop.

"Holy.. shit." I looked down at the streets to see hundreds of mobs walking toward the front of the building.

Huh. Good thing I don't have acrophobia. I thought.

"Hey, we could take the ladder here. We're not completely trapped!" The black haired boy said.

"Then we'd better hurry. You first." The pinkette pushed me toward the ladder.

"I.." I hesitated.

"Go, or I'll push you off myself." Minx said.

"Okay! You don't need to threaten me!" I said.

I crouched down and got onto the ladder, climbing down.

The other three followed me to the bottom.

I squeaked.

There was a snarling mob walking toward us.

"Minx." The pinkette said in a quiet voice.

The e-girl walked forward and grabbed a metal bat from her back, swinging it at the mob's head.

"Come, on, you." Techno said, pushing me forward.

"Where are you going to take me!?" I said.

Suddenly a cloth was wrapped around my mouth, muffling my voice.

The pinkette took my bags off me and pushed me into a truck, blind folding me. He also tied my hands behind my back with a twist tie, I assumed.

"Mghnn!" I heard the door close.

"Why'd you put a blind fold on him?" Minx asked.

I quiet down to listen to them.

"So he doesn't know which was he came to the camp from." The pinkette said.

They have a camp? Shit! I need Puffy! She has the rest of the guns! I thought.

"It's getting dark. Hurry up." Minx said.

The truck shook when the engine started, and we started moving.

It had been about 15 minutes, to my calculations. The truck finally stopped.
