(I don't have much of an idea XD)

We were back at Hermit Crafts. I was still in the down mood.

Grian and I were walking down the path.

"I have someone for you to meet. It may not be  much, but it'll be worth it. And plus it'll brighten up your mood." Grian pat my shoulder.

"Mhm.." I looked down at the ground, with my arms holding each other. I did not like this, my friends could be dead for all I care.

"They always say to watch where you're going." Grian said. That caught my attention and made me look up, to see him walk ahead.

I slowed down and stopped as he approached a brown haired female with a pixie cut.

Her face didn't show because she was facing the other way. It seemed as though she was working with a few others, handing over some boxes to another female, over the table.

The other female that she was working with was inside the building, so the table separated the two.

Grian put an arm around her, which gave me the clue they could be dating or married. It looked like a greeting to me.

I think it was sweet how there were couples around, living.

She brought attention to him and smiled, putting hand on his back.

"Do you have a quick moment?" He asked her.

"Mhm!" She responded.

They were both facing me.

"This is a new guy that Iskall and Keralis found. He was on the side of the street." Grian said. "Wilbur.. Soot."

"Nice to meet you, Wilbur Soot." She said.

"Nice to meet you, too." I responded, giving a small smile.

"This is my lovely wife, Claire. We got engaged about a year ago. It's glad to have gotten married before the infection started." Grian said.

"It's nice to know that somebody's still there to love you, hm?" She said.

"You guys should have a little chat, to get to know each other, since this guy is going to stay with us until we can find a way to find his friends." Grian started backing off. "I've got to check on Mumbo and give him a little helping."

Soon enough, he disappeared.

"Let's go inside the main house. It's quieter there." Claire said.

I was sitting on the bed as Claire sat on the chair.

"My husband is great. He's like the good cop, wandering around and checking for anything wrong. This place means a lot to him." She explained. She had a soft blush on her cheeks.

"Good cop? And what, he gonna arrest any bad guy? Perhaps, a burglar?" I joked.

"Yeah right. I think of us as rangers, pretty much. We try our best to befriend everyone here. There's no need to fight, and that's a rule. Fighting causes the wrong. And it could cause death." She said.

She cleared her throat. "So, how was it was your friends?" She asked.

"Well, it was great. I didn't get to know them much, but I like hanging out with them. I just wish I could hang out with them more." I sighed.

"Your poor friends. I wonder what they're right now." Claire said. "I bet they're worried sick about you."

"Yeah uhm.. I woke up on the beach before I noticed this infection." I said, uncertainly. "I have no idea what day it is."
