Nicolas Alexanders' P.O.V.

Is it bad to be irritated with my own dad? He's teasing me and its obvious to me. My dad lied. i do visit him and check on him when i have time.

He was just testing kelsey and im not liking it.

I make us some coffee before going back to the living room still a bit bummed out cause my lion got irritated at me for asking dad to leave.

If only he knew.

"Here" i mumble dijectedly before plopping down beside kelsey but still not saying a word to him.

I mean i understand where he is coming from i just hate it when he gets this disappointed look on his eyes as he look at me earlier.

I can feel his stare as i put the glass if coffee infront of him.

"So kelsey i heard that you were my sons rival since college until now is that true?" My dad spoke irking me even more.

I look at him with hard gaze silently telling him to not push whatever he was planning.

"No sir" my gaze shift to kelsey as soon as he spoke.

He have this soft smile that makes my heart race. "We don't even know each other personally until a few months back. The rivalry was just a rumor started by our common colleagues cause by our age and achivements na din po siguro but for me that doesnt actually exist between us" he answer calmly with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

And unconciously my lips lift upward on its own forming a smile. I admire him not just because of what i feel for him but also because he is a admirable person.

"Is that so? But from what i heard you knew our family way before that? Is that why you were so eager to be in the hospital that we own?" I immediately turn to my dad...surprise by his sudden question.

"Dad!" I hiss out, slamming my hand on the table angrily.

How the fuck can he ask such stupid question.

His face was passive as he gave me a look, a warning for me to shut up and let him do what he wants or else... Now he's showing his real intention from buttering up with kelsey earlier.

I grip my fist tightly while pressing my lips in a thin line. I cant interfer now. I know my dad he wont stop until he's satisfied. This is why i keep insisting for him to leave earlier.

I look at kelsey worriedly "kel---" i tried to tell him that he dont need to answer my dad but he cutted me off.

He was looking down on his hand that lays rigid on top of his knees.

"No sir..." he lift his head and if was amaze earlier now im in awe at the smile on his face. It doesnt look fake or strained or even forced. It look like he understand why my dad is doing this. Why my dad is asking such stupid question.

"It was my dream to be on that hospital not because of nico or your family...well partly.." he chuckle "i admire your family sir but specifically i admire your brother..he saved my dad and for that i wanted to repay that for working at the place where my dad was healed years ago. I wanted to save peoples' life just like how your brother saved my dad...meeting nico and falling in love with him was not on my plan..." i heart jump at what he just said. He love me?
