ROUND 1 (All judges involved) Once you fill out the form, you are submitted to round 1 where your first chapter (sometimes second chapter) will be read and evaluated. If you pass, you can proceed to round 2. No feedback is offered in round 1.
ROUND 2 (Half of the judges involved) To continue to round 2, you will follow four judges. Instead of the hosts/community/friends etc. you give those 4 follows to the judges. That's all. No other follows needed after that. These 4 follows will be payment for the work the judges did in round 1. Without these follows, you cannot be judged for round 2. There is no feedback offered in round 1, but there is feedback offered after round 2.
ROUND 3 (The next half of the judges involved) This will involve deeper feedback IF your book does not advance.
FINAL ROUND (Hosts read and judge) 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th place winners will be announced and prizes handed out.
