Chapter 11

*JAZLYN'S P.O.V*

After Addie left I went back to my room and continued watching Jimmy Tatro's videos. I finished editing the video a while ago and I really wanted to watch Jimmy's new video. Addie thought I was still editing. Jeesh, I'm not that bad!

I was watching Awkward Social Interactions when a shrill cry broke me mid-laughter. I paused the video and put my laptop on my bed and walked towards the window.

A boy’s yell made me pull the curtains back instantly. It was insanely dark out and I could barely make out a couple of figures.

I snatched my vans from my floor and slipped them on while running outside. I heard more screams come from the backyard. Why didn't I just go through the back door? I mentally face palmed myself.

"Addie!" I desperately yelled running into the backyard. I froze at the sight before me.

Addie was chasing 3 people with my old bat raised above her head. The only reason she hasn't caught them yet was because the table was in between them. I heard laughter come from next door and turned my head. Two boys were on the floor laughing their butts off.

"Glad you're enjoying the show but in about 5 seconds those boys will be dead." I told them with an eye roll.

Just as Addie was about to jump on top of the table I grabbed her waist pulling her down with me. We both tumbled on the floor, her on top of me.

"They're going to kill us Jaz!" Addie screeched while I gripped her tighter.

"That's not what it looked like to me!" I yelled back at her.

"We were just getting our ball! We promise!" One of them begged.

"See!" I exclaimed.

"Oh." Was all she said. Oh. I let her go and laid my head on the floor.

"Gosh. I thought you were getting murdered." I mumbled closing my eyes.

"It was the total opposite!" A British voice spoke up. I opened my eyes and got up from the ground. The 2 boys who were laughing their butts off had now joined the other 3.

"Sorry. Didn't want to die today." Addie said shrugging her shoulders.

"I can arrange that." I said raising my eyebrows.

"Oh really? Then I would come back from the dead as a zombie and kill you." She shot at me.

"Girl, you know I grew up playing zombie games a.k.a Left 4 Dead. I could kill you in less than 5 seconds!" I exclaimed throwing my hands in the air.

"Not before I eat your brain. Oh wait, just kidding there's nothing there." She smirked at me while crossing her arms.

"Oh-" I began but was interrupted by an accent.

"Um sorry to interrupt but thought we should introduce ourselves." One of them offered. I couldn't really see any of them considering it was about midnight.

"Oh yeah. Wanna come inside?" I offered already walking towards the back door.

"What if there rapist and this is all a part of their plan?" Addie whispered rather loudly into my ear.

"Why would they want to rape you?" I asked crinkling my nose in mock disgust.

"Hey!" Addie exclaimed as the boys chuckled. "You're going to get it Rodriguez."

"Hit me with your best shot!" I sang while opening the door. In response, Addie pushed me up the up stairs as I led them to my room.
