Chpater 55

Putting up a tent was harder than it seemed. I always made Javier and Dad do it themselves while I awkwardly watched them from the side. But obviously, they werent here to do that for me.

Addie and I were wrestling with the black pole trying to force it into the slit in the canvas. With a frustrated sigh, I threw the pole onto the floor. I was way to impatient for this. Addie just stared at the pole in her hand as if it would connect itself. I glanced to my right, seeing Liam, Zayn, Luke and Ayden propping the tent effortlessly on all fours.

I felt like their built tent was mocking me.

Luke noticed my distress and offered to help. Him and Ayden had the tent up in minutes. Meanwhile, I sat down in between Louis and Niall, entering their conversation with Harry. Addie just stared at Luke and Ayden constructing the tent in disbelief. Ayden gently tugged the pile out of her hands and placed a kiss on her cheek before returning to the tent. Wheres my kiss?

We were laying down on the grass, gazing at the stars when my phone vibrated next to Louis. Louis glanced at the screen and let out a low whistle with an amused smirk.

"Someone's in trouble," He sang, tossing me my phone.

I glanced at the I.D and saw 'Dad' flashing on the screen.

"You're grounded!" Zayn teased, sticking out his tongue.

"Please, im an adult. I dont get grounded." I rolled my eyes.

"Ha! Thats funny cause didnt your dad ground you before he left?" Addie spoke up, sending me an amused expression. I glared at her before answering the call.

While I did so, everyone aside from Luke (considering he already knows) wanted to hear the story. Addie assured them once I was off the phone, I would enlighten them with my amusing story.

"Hey dad," I issued through the reciever, my voice clear.

"Hey baby!" He greeted me cheerfully.

"So, one of my colleagues is a young girl who just graduated from high school and she happens to be infatuated with this band," He began. My eyes widened and my heart rate quickened. Everyone chuckled at my expression but I ignored them.

"And she told me earlier today that they have been spotted with two Youtube girls named Jazlyn Rodriguez and Adeline Blue. Do you know a Jazlyn and Adeline? " He continued.

"Well, one of their moms happen to live next door and we had a nerf war and one of them is like my pranking enemy but hes cool to work with and another is like another brother or best friend and the others are funny and cool and they're our friends," I rambled, nervous at my dads reaction. "They have bodyguards and one of their fans asked for a picture and they walked in on one of our twitcams and thats how everyone found out and-"

"Jaz, deep breaths. Chill girl, chill." He cut me off, chuckling a bit.

I smiled sheepishly and looked down at the floor.

"Its cool if they're there. Just no funny buisness, but im glad youre having a good time. But a heads up next time would be nice, yeah?" He spoke with an amused tone.

"Of course. They are like our new best friends," I informed him, rolling my eyes when the boys put their hands to their hearts and awed.

After my phone call with my dad, Harry immediately spoke up the second I hung up.

"What did you get grounded for?"

"None of your buisness!"

"I guess I'll tell them." Addie smirked, taking a breath as she was about to tell the story.

"No! Stop!" I whined, covering her mouth.

"Oh come on! Can we at least know this story? We dont even know what happened sophomore year!" Liam complained, throwing his hands up.

"I will never tell about sophomore year. I will take that to my grave!" I exclaimed, pointing at them.

"Alright, I got grounded because I moved all the furniture In the living room and hid them outside. When my dad came home, I told him we were robbed. He freaked out and called the cops before I could stop him," I gave in, keeping my eyes casted down. Luke and Addie were already sniggering next to me.

"I have never seen her so scared in my entire life, espically when the cops came." Addie laughed, covering her mouth.

"I had to explain to my dad it was just a prank and he made me tell the cops who told me that was a juvenile thing to do. My dad then grounded me for three weeks and he took away my muffins," I whispered the last part with a sheepish look. At that they all burst into laughter while I sat there very uncomfortable. I glared at every single one of them before laying back down.

The night was spent with laughter and chatter, talking and laughing about everything and anything. Ayden and Luke bonded extremly well with each other and the other boys. We were all just a really good bunch of friends who felt comfortable with one another.

Even if five of them were probably in the top fifty most famous people in the world.

I fell asleep in one tent along with Addie, Luke and Ayden while the boys shared the other one.

I fell asleep happy.

But Jesus, did I wake up even more happier.
