Chapter 31

Hinata drove to base, leaving Akaashi at his house. "Hopefully it's good. Like in public. I haven't killed anyone in public for a while." He says to himself as he gets to base. 

"Hey Yachi. Asahi." He says waving to them, "Hey Hinata." They respond. Hinata smiles, "Have you guys seen Suga?" Asahi nods his head, "Yea, he's in Daichi's office." Hinata nods his head ad walks over to the office.

He knocks on the door, "Come in." He hears Daichi say. He walks in and sees Suga standing by Daichi. "Who am I going after?" He asks. "Carlos Handura." Hinata looks at Suga in confusion. "Who?" Suga sighs, "You might not know him, but he's close to exposing our base to the police." He says. "Oh...when do I go out?" Hinata asks, Daichi pulls out a file, "Sit down. This is some information about him. You go out as soon as you finish going through it." Hinata nods and starts going through the file.

"Carlos Handura, police officer. Age 24. He's Hispanic?" Hinata asks confused, "Yea, he used to work in South America but he moved here after he finished a job." Suga answers. "But what about his computers?" Hinata asks, "We've got Kenma hacking into them and placing a virus so it deletes everything he had." Daichi says. Hinata nods his head, "Alright. Should I go then? Do you want me to take my bike? Or should I use one of the cars?" Hinata asks. "Your bike is fine, just make sure not to catch any unwanted attention." Daichi says. Hinata nods and goes to get his gun.

"Where're you headed?" Yachi asks, "Assassinating someone." Hinata smirks, Yachi gives him a small smile, "Alright be careful." "I always am." He winks and leaves. 

He grabs a duffle bag and places his sniper in it. "Lets see what we can do." He says before getting his mask, hat, and some gloves. He gets everything and goes to his bike and puts his helmet on. "Lets go." He says to himself as he drives over to the location Carlos would be at. They've been monitoring him for a month. He's supposed to be at the park. 

Hinata was driving until he got a text and stopped at a red light.

I have to go to base
but I'll meet you at your place when you're done.

Alright
I'll be back around 5.    (It's like 3:30)

He puts his phone away and goes back to driving. He goes to an apartment building and sets up in one of the residents rooms. He chooses a residents room because he wouldn't be suspected when they try find the person who killed Carlos. They'd think it was the resident. But he's going to have to leave his gun behind to make it seem like it was them. Hinata smirks, "How fun~" He says looking for his victim.

There he was, Carlos Handura, talking to someone. "I have to make a distraction." He whispers before shooting a empty field of grass. Everyone scattered, leaving Carlos by himself. Hinata gets ready, has his eyes on the target, and shoots. 

He watches Carlos's body fall when he shoots his head and he smiles to himself. "My work here is done." He says, he puts his stuff back, but leaves the gun. He places the gun under couch and leaves. 

He gets on his motorcycle and drives back to base.

"I'm done." Hinata says waking in, "That was fast. Yachi replies. Hinata shrugs, "Eh, it was quite easy, there wasn't a lot to do." He walks over to Daichi's office. "Hey I fini-" He stops what he was saying. Suga was sitting on Daichi's lap. "I-uh-bye?" He started to slowly leave before Suga got off Daichi's lap. "Come back!" He yells blushing. Hinata peaks into the room. "I-uh-I'm sorry!" He says bowing. Suga and Daichi were still blushing. "I-It's fine!" Suga exclaims. "Yea, we didn't mean to have you see that." Daichi says. "Mhm..." 

Hinata was about to leave before Suga called him, "Hinata wait! How is it with...you know..." Suga asks quietly, Daichi looking at the two confused. "Oh! We're doing good! It's amazing." He says, Suga smiles, "That's good." 

Daichi then speaks up, "What am I missing?" He asks, "O-oh...I'm dating? Akaashi...Keiji..." Hinata says. "Akaashi Keiji? As in Blue Owl?" Hinata nods his head, "Since when?" "A couple of days?" Hinata responds. Daichi sighs, "Okay, I can't stop you from dating who you like. But be careful. Please. We  can't Bokuto take you again. But this time, it'll probably be worse." Daichi says. Hinata nods his head, "Don't worry Daichi. I got it. We're both being careful about it. We talked about it." Hinata says. Daichi nods his head, "Okay. You can go now since I'm sure you killed Carlos already." Suga says. "Yup." Hinata says before leaving.

Hey, I finished early, you done?

He had to wait a couple of minutes before getting a reply.

Hinata places his phone away and goes to leave base. "Uh, Hinata?" He turned around and sees Tsukkishima? "Yea?" He looks at him confused, "Nevermind, It's pretty stupid." He says before turning around. "What is it?" Hinata asks grabbing his wrist. Tsukki looks down. "Um...are Yams and Kageyama dating?" Hinata lets go of his wrists, "I think so. Why?" Hinata asks, "It's nothing." Tsukkishima says. Hinata gasps. Tsukkishima looks up and covers Hinata's mouth. "No. shut up." He says quickly. Hinata shakes his head and Tsukki takes his hands off. "You idiot." Hinata says smacking his head. 

Tsukkishima groans. "I can't believe you right now! You have no idea how hard Yamaguchi cried when he found out you had a girlfriend! Now, just be happy for him. Please. You already lost him. He's much happier with Kageyama. If you love him, you'd let him be." Hinata says before walking away.

Tsukkishima stood there in tears. "I know...I'm trying..." He whispers before leaving as well.

Hinata gets home to see Akaashi standing outside his door. "What took so long?" He asks hugging Hinata's waist. "A friend came back to his senses." Hinata says opening the door. "I hope you didn't wait long." Hinata says taking his shoes off. "Nah." Akaashi replies taking his shoes off as well.

"Lets watch a movie." Hinata says while getting some snacks and heading to the couch. "As you wish." Akaashi says, making Hinata giggle.
