“You finally broke and gave in…” Kuroo said causing the table to become still

“Wait…” Kageyama spoke before adding “So you remembered everything then?”

“If you are talking about when we met at Nationals…. Yes I did.” I said, glancing up at Kageyama to see is reaction but he just looked away from me

“So other than that you don’t remember too much.” Akina asked me, causing me to nod and I turned to face her

“I remember bits and pieces of some things, but I still don’t know too much…” I said before looking over at Kuroo “What about my mom.”

“I’m not sure, Akina and I just left… but I have to assume that she is looking for you.” He said while he glanced down at his hands before removing the ring from his finger

“I’m going to leave now…” He said while he placed the ring on the table before glancing at me before adding “Be careful with your mom… I think she is planning something else.”

“What about you?” I asked while he got up from his seat

“I’ve made someone wait for me long enough…” He said before glancing at me from Kageyama “So have you.” He said, causing me to blush before he turned to walk away

“Wait Tetsurou-” I called out while I got up from my seat

“Hmm? You don’t hate me? Or are you wondering about divorce papers?” He asked while he glanced back at he from where he stood

“No-” I said “I wanted to thank you.”
“Thank me?” He said, almost like he was offended

“Yes.” I said confidently before he walked close to me

“Why would that be?” He asked looking down at me, while I felt Kageyama stand up from his seat

“You-” I heard Kageyama start causing me to glance over at him, giving me a small reassuring smile before I faced Kuroo again

“Don’t try to make me hate you, because you feel guilty.” I said while I stared him in the eyes while he continued to glare back down at me

“And how would you know that?” He asked while neither of us broke eye contact

“Because for the past few years I have been your wife.”

“But how do you know I wasn’t faking it all?” He asked, causing me to slightly smile

“That’s why I wanted to thank you…” I said trailing off before continuing “These past few years you could have hated me and treated me rudely, but instead you were kind and confronted me. But seeing how you are reacting now, more than likely you were kind to me because you felt guilty for everything that you did.”

Kuroo sighed with a small sad smile glancing at the ground , before looking back at me.

“And you are right.” I said while I took a step away from him “We have been making people wait for us… but they need to wait a little longer.”

“What-” I heard Kageyama and Akina say in unsion while I started to walk away from the table

“Wait, L/n-” Kageyama called while he quickly got out of his seat and quickly followed behind me, before stopping me

“What do you mean by making us wait a little longer?” He asked while he worriedly looked at me

“Isn’t there a saying… you have to face your past before you can move forward? I may not remember everything from my past, but there are still some things I need to address.” I explained while I noticed Akina joining us
