-Takes Place at the Nekoma vs Karasuno at Nationals-
'I never lived a moment of my life, before meeting you. You can't be separated from me! This heart was angry when I was without you.' Kageyama thought to himself while he stared at the familiar figure that stood in the stands.
"Kageyama?" Hinata said in a concerned tone while he tapped the raven-haired boy in front of him
"Huh?" He hummed while his eyes left the girl in the stands to look at Hinata
"You're up to serve," Hinata said while he handed the ball to Kageyama
"You've got this," Hinata said while Kageyama blankly nodded
'I wonder if she is here for his game.' Kageyama thought to himself while he stared at the rooster-haired boy
"Let's Go Neckoma!" He heard the cheers of the other team, but he easily was able to pick out her voice
"I can't believe this," Kageyama mumbled to himself while the whistle was blown before he jumped-served the ball
The ball went flying towards Neckoma's middle blocker before it bounced off him and out of bounds.
"Nice Serve!" Daichi said before adding "Keep you're cool Kageyama."
"My cool is kept," Kageyama said coldly before the ball was passed to him again
He hit the ball right towards the same middle blocker, only this time he failed to receive it right
"Kuroo!" Kenma exclaimed while his best friend fell to the ground holding his nose
Kageyama stared at the scene before he realized what was going on
"Why did you target, Kuroo?" Hinata asked drawing him from his thoughts
"I-" Kageyama was about to explain himself but the tapping footsteps of a girl running towards the court made him stop
"F/n," Kageyama mumbled while he watched was her hair bounced as she ran towards the other side of the court
"L/n?" Hinata said confused, while she started to help Kuroo get up
"L/n!" Hinata called with a wave while he realized that was the same girl, while she looked back disapproving
"I'll help you to the nurses." She said while she exited the gym with Kuroo
"Kageyama, cool it or you are going to be taken out," Hinata commented while anger in Kageyama's eyes was not hidden now
Kageyama got through his turn to serve before getting taken out of the game.
"Kageyama, step out of the gym for a second. You need to calm down." Ukai directed and Kageyama was quick to complain
"No, I'll be fine."
"You seriously need to cool your head, we need you in there. Just go and take a short break out in the hall then you can return." Ukai said more sternly now, causing Kageyama to give in
"Fine." He said while he grabbed a water bottle and a towel before walking out into the hallway.
The cool brisk air hit his body, causing him to shiver for a second before he wrapped the towel around his neck.
He took a drink of water, before resting his head on the wall.
"You're that guy!" A voice exclaimed, causing him to look in the direction it came from
"F/n." He mumbled while he looked at the familiar figure
"Why did you target Kuroo?" She asked angrily while the raven-haired boy turned in her direction but he stayed silent
"How do you know my name?" She asked her tone not changing
"F/n, I loved you. How can you be so cold?" Kageyama kept his eyes steady, resting on her face like they were home, but just briefly, the sorrow already building.
F/n stayed rooted to the spot, the breeze from a fan moved her hair softly away from the cheekbones that had become so much more prominent over the previous weeks. She stared back at the same eyes that had a lost look in his eyes.
"Do-"
"F/n, where did you go?" A familiar voice said while before approaching the two figures
"Kim, you knew she was here?" The raven-haired boy asked the girl who appeared from around the corner
"I saw her in the hall head this way from the nurse's office," Akina explained while she looked back at her best friend who stood in between them.
"Please stop talking like you know me, it's creepy," F/n said to the two figures that stood on opposite sides of her, balancing from one to another
"F/n-" Akina started to say, but the girl was quick to cut her off
"What are you, stalkers? How do you know my name?" The girl rudely said causing the blue-eyed boy to walk towards her
"Stop acting like you don't know what happened-" He started while he grabbed her wrist to make her face him "You left us all, leaving us with only a note."
She stared back at the boy, pale-faced, unsure of why she felt so guilty but reading the sorrow in his eyes was easy. She gently bit her lip before softly asking
"Who Are You?"
