He yelled and screamed at you; things he would later regret, things that would ruin you. You stared at the ground as his insults shredded every bit of sanity left in your brain, this had to end. He was about to slap you, his palm approached your face in slow motion... You were too stunned to stop it.
"I-I-" He had slapped you.
"Save it! I'm done okay?!" Your cheek was burning; your heart had just shattered.
"At least I won't hurt you again..." Tears streamed down his face as he watched you go; watched you leave... He was too scared to stop you; too afraid of causing you more pain. So he let you leave, let you escape his life, let you abandon your only love. It shattered him and you; you would never trust him again, he had hit you after all... So it was all over, despair got the better of you, you had lost him.
