It was already getting dark when you looked outside your window. You sighed and rolled your chair away from your desk. You were so done with today, only working on school and doing assignments. You were about the get out of your chair to get in bed when your computer made a sound. A notification sound.

You excitedly rolled back to your desk and opened the notification.

Hey Y/n, we are doing karaoke tonight, you wanna join in?

You read the discord message and emediately became excited.

Y/n
Sure! I'm not really comfy with singing tho..

You answered, and he emediately wrote something back.

No worries, you dont have to sing! Just come vibe :)

You smiled at the message and messaged him back that you would defenitely be there.

"MAMAAAA JUST KILLED RATTT! PUT A BASEBALL BAT AGAINST HIS HEAD, SWUNG MY ARMS AND NOW HES DEAD!" You heard two boys sing. Ofcourse Bad emediately said something about it afterwards. "Y/n! You are here!" Sapnap said when he recognized your profile picture popping up on discord.

A lot of people were singing, you softly denying all the offers for you to sing. No one pushed you, but you felt like you had to sing something.

Then, Sapnap offered you a duet with the two of you. "You don't have to, but i would like to sing Classic with you.." He said softly and you couldnt decline. Ofcourse you did it.

You had much fun singing with him, laughing in between some words from embarressment. After you two sang, it was pretty quiet. "Was it that bad..?" You asked, afraid for the answer. You knew you werent a good singer.. but-

"No you were actually really good!" Ranboo added. "Really good!" Karl added too. "See y/n? We are a good duo!" Sapnap happily said, leaving the stage.

After another song from Quackity and Karl, you all took a quick break. You decided to mute for a bit and just sit.

You cleared your throat softly, you knew no one could hear you and from all the excitement, you wanted to sing a bit.

"Here we go~" you started, trying to focus so you wont mess up.

There it was. It sounded like angels, heaven even. You knew she was nervous, but damn, the girl can sing!

"Come with me~" she sang, which made your mouth open.

"There's a world out there that we should see." You heard more. You wanted more. She was singing so beautifully you couldn't even believe it.

You opened the message and smiled.

I did not know that either.

"Take my hand~ Close your eyes~"

You read that message and hesitated. You did not want this to stop..

Sapnap
Please let her continue.

"With you right here, im a rocketeer."

Tears came to your eyes. You never knew she could do that. And she probably didnt either...

"Let's fly~~"

You read and emediately felt bad you didnt say anything sooner. But damn.. it was really good.

Karl cleared his throat which made y/n emediately stop. "Y/n, you are not muted.." He said softly which made her gasp and emediately leave the call.

I was so embarrassed from the event I needed time alone. They heard me sing! I was probably terrible! Why didnt I check if i was muted! Im so stupid!

You ranted and ranted but came to a stop when you heard your computer beeping.
