M O N A ' S P O V:

Nobody wants to be late, especially if you are a junior in college on your first day of the new semester.

But there I was, running late. Weaving through the crowded hallways of the business building, I ran as fast as I could to reach my lecture hall.

Living off campus did have its perks, the main one being the amount of money I was able to save instead of splurging it on a dorm room with a roommate I was 99% sure I wasn't going to like.

But it did have it's downsides, which brings me to my current situation. Oversleeping a major class with a strict professor was every university student's worst nightmare.

Muttering my apologies to anyone I hit, I finally made it to my lecture hall in the nick of time as the professor had just picked up the attendance sheet.

Cheering my victory in my head, I quietly made my way towards a familiar face as he patted down the seat next to him as a signal for me to sit.

Lee Minhyuk; my best friend since middle school. Him and I have been through hell and back in our years knowing each other and I would never give them up for anything in the world.

A smile painted its way onto my lips as he handed me a cold iced coffee to cool me down. Once the professor had finished with his announcements, he began prep on the day's presentation as I felt a nudge in my side.

"Mona, you really need to start waking up earlier. I once heard that Professor Kim takes 10% of your final mark away for every late class!"

Shrugging my shoulders, I took a sip of my coffee before taking out my notebook. "Relax, I haven't been late yet and I don't plan on it. I really need a high mark in this class to qualify for the scholarship."

Minhyuk's words were cut off by the sudden light change with all eyes in the lecture hall focusing on the screen. Clearing his voice, Professor Kim began his presentation.

"Good morning class. Welcome to Fashion Design and Marketing. I can see that a lot of you are worried about how your grades will turn out after reading the syllabus, but I will be answering all of your questions for you today. But before that—"

The screen displaying the course name changed to that showing the picture of an individual everyone in the room recognized. Professor Kim smiled as he gestured to the image on the screen.

"This is Park Seonghwa, notably South Korea's most popular model, if not the world. He is what determines your grade for this class."
