The next time Louis saw Harry wasn't at the support group with other people sitting there waiting for the evening to eventually be over, but at his place of work. Louis' mother had handed him a grocery list earlier that day, with the intention of her dropping him off at the store while she ran a few other errands, and they would meet up later at home because he was supposed to take the bus home.

So, he stood before the front doors with the list his mother made burning in his jacket pocket. He walked a little bit further in, and went to grab the note from the pocket.

"Would you like a shopping cart, sir?"

The deep voice shook Louis from his deep thoughts, and he looked up to see a working man patiently waiting for him to say something. He tried collecting his thoughts, and he was about to make the natural no response that he always gave to everybody so the conversation wouldn't continue, but after remembering what was on the list, he realized that he indeed needed the cart.

He gave a small smile and with a shaky voice, said yes. After being handed the cart, he slowly slid it past the double doors and went to look at the list for which aisle he needed to go too.

He directed the cart into one of the aisles, and grabbed some items from the shelf. He went further into the aisle and onto the next, grabbing some more items. When he went to push the cart some more, the cart ran into someone.

"I-I'm so sorry-" He looked up, meeting eyes with familiar green ones.

Harry took his headphone that was in his ear, and just stared at him. He looked down at the cart that just bumped into him and the contents inside of it and then back up at Louis. Louis continued to stand there, his palms beginning to sweat under the bars of the cart. "I'm sorry," he repeated.

Harry stared at him, before taking a deep breath. And it was almost like he knew Louis wasn't apologizing for just this incident but also the other night. "It's okay." He simply said.

Louis took a deep breath, nodding because there wasn't much else either one of them could say. After several moments, Harry moved over for Louis to continue on down the aisle. He did so, and spared one last glance towards his direction and found Harry already looking at him. Louis was the first to break eye contact, and continue moving with the cart.

For the next thirty minutes or so, Louis grabbed all the items his mother wanted him to get with a few extra things he was in the mood for. While grabbing those things, he knew he would have to hide them somehow before going home to face his mother again. Thankfully, none of the items were anything frozen, so carrying them without worrying if they would get spoiled was easy.

After going through the next few motions of placing them by the register, and paying for them, he was about to get everything out of the carts and find his way to the bus stop when he spotted something. Or someone.

With his bags awkwardly hanging by his side, he saw Harry walking out of the grocery store and taking off the apron he had on and the lanyard that had his name on it. He didn't spot Louis at first, being too busy with taking off anything that reminded him of his job and was walking to a beat up Honda. He had just unlocked the car with his key in the door when he looked up, almost like he sensed someone was watching him.
