After a bit, When it became January, Sarah comes into the room where Isabella and Leslie were in, talking, Sarah then says something, "hey you two kids." Isabella and Leslie look over to Sarah, and at the same time, they both say something, "yeah mama?" Sarah smiles slightly, "looks like you're getting adopted, Leslie, your upcoming birthday, you'll be turning 12, and you'll be getting adopted." Leslie stares and so does Isabella, and Sarah smiles, "isn't that wonderful? Now Isabella, enjoy your last 6 days with him." She then leaves.
Isabella looks at Leslie and Leslie looks back at her, "the Morse code..?" Isabella nods, "yeah, something about a demon farm! You're not being sent there, right?" Isabella asks, slightly panicked, Leslie shrugs, "I'm not sure Isabella..." Isabella then became worried, "you can't become food! We said we'll escape together, and we'll live! Right?" Leslie shrugs, "yeah.. but I'm not sure if I'll be able to live... Now, if I do become demon food, don't give up, alright..? That's not what I want you to do.. okay?" Isabella stares and hugs Leslie, "okay.. I'll try not to give up!" Leslie smiles and hugs Isabella back, "hey.. do you want me to play you another song?" Isabella stares at him, and nods, "oh.. sure!"
Leslie smiles and nods and plays a different song, but that song is the Lullaby, and Isabella stares, "oh! The lullaby! Its.. my favorite!" Leslie smiles, "I know it's your favorite, so I'm playing it for you." Isabella smiles and listens to him play the Lullaby.
