Chapter 1 - Jump Then Fall

-Bella's POV-

I wake up to the sight of Darren beside me. Yes, at 21 we're still strong and in love with each other. It's been eight years and well, look at us now. Me plus him sleeping on the same king sized bed every night.

We aren't married just yet, but we live in the same apartment here in Makati. I don't even know why Darren bought such a huge apartment for us! I mean, there's only me and him in here.

Anyway highway, since I woke up earlier than my hubby, why not make him breakfast?

"I like the way you sound in the morning,

We're on the phone and without a warning

I realize your laugh is the best sound

I have ever heard..." I sing as I tie my hair into a bun.

"I like the way I can't keep my focus,

I watch you talk, you didn't notice

I hear the words but all I can think is

We should be together." I continue, cracking three eggs in the bowl and whisking it.

"Everytime you smile, I smile

And everytime you shine, I'll shine for you." A pinch of salt and a dash of pepper-

"Whoa, I'm feeling you baby

Don't be afraid to jump then fall

Jump then fall into me

Baby I'm never gonna leave you

Say that you wanna be with me too

'Cause I'm gonna stay through it all

So jump then fall." a pair of arms found its way around me. There's only one person here with me anyway, and that's Darren.

"Morning wifey. You look beautiful." he compliments, kissing me on the cheek after.

"Aww, good morning hubby." I smile as I pour the eggs in the frying pan.

"Let me cook for you." he smirked then slapped my stomach.

"Heyyy." I pout, my hands on my waist, nakapamewang.

"I don't want my baby getting tired!" he stepped away from the pan then held my face.

"I'm not pregnant Darren, stop treating me like I am." I whined. My mental age is like, 5 but who cares?!

"Want me to get you pregnant?" he winked then carried me bridal style.

"NO! PUT ME DOOOOOOOWN!"

"Excited pa naman ako, oh well, suit yourself." he shrugged then plopped me on the couch.

"Heh!" I threw a pillow at his back. He just laughed it off.

We've always been like this, childishly in love just like we started out, but of course, we still have maturity in mind.

I mean, come on... he was thinking about getting me pregnant awhile ago! -.-

I imagine having kids with him but eh, wag munaaaaaaa.

"Hey Bel." he speaks as he places the scrambled eggs on a platter.

"Yeah?"

"Let's get married."

"Why not?" I giggled while playing with the throw pillow in my hand. I don't know if he's serious, but I sure hope he is.

"Operation throwback number ano na ba bukas?" he asks again while putting toast in the toaster.
