Not overly fond of what happens

Chapter 12

I sigh softly walking back to into the throne room. It's so hard on me to handle this and I've only been at it a day... I have to take care of things for god knows how long... I sit back down slowly and tiredly. I look down to my feet hearing the snow start to fall. Maltorn walks in.
"How will you set up the evening watch, King-in-Waiting?"
"How are our borders?" I ask, remembering that Aunt Lumikiki said that.
"They are strong."
"Which sides were we attacked from?"
"East and west."
"Strengthen those and make a patrol to watch inside the villages."
"Okay?"
"We will ensure each patrol has at least ten people but the east and west will man 16."
"Okay and how large for the castle patrol."
"It is a normal patrol so 10."
"Okay."
He leaves to divide the soldiers. I sigh and look over to Bucky. He sits down on the floor beside me. N'Kantu and Morbius walk in.
"Hey."
"Hello."
I sigh and lean back.
"Tired?" Bucky asks. 
"Not really."

Thor's POV

I get a text from Malthorn.
Malthorn: Hello!
Thor: hi?
Malthorn: do you have twenty minutes?
Thor: why?
Malthorn: need to talk to you and Tony.
Thor: Okay?
I get up and go find Tony.
"Hey."
"Yo, what's up?"
"A vampire friend of mine wants to meet up and talk with us."
"Okay?"
"Let's go."
We head to the café. I see Malthorn. He smiles and teleports over.
"Hi!!" He says.
"Ah!" Tony shouts.
"Sorry!" He says cutely. He plops into the seat.
"What did you want to talk to us about?" I ask.
"I wanted to see if it was okay if I tutored your daughter in magic," he says to Tony.
"What?"
"Kara?" I ask.
"Yes."
"Well... Okay?" Tony says.
"Thank you," he says softly.
"Is that it?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"Well, let us eat then go home."
He nods cutely. We eat and go home.
"So?"
"Do not worry he will nod  hurt her."
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm, he is very kind."
"Who?"
"Malthorn."
"Yeah that guy saved my life!"
"Really?"
"When?"
"Oh I was walking home late at night and my battery shorted out because of this guy who wanted to kidnap me. Malthorn hissed at him then lunged at him. He saved me. He even took me to my room and changed my battery!"
"Huh."
"And he even wants to teach me magic but he wanted to be polite and ask you first."
"Oh, yeah that's what we just came from."
"Awwww!"
"Um?"
"He's really good, dad... I would not mind dating him!"
"What?!"
"Um? You do realize you are a human, right?"
"Duh!"
"Well he would only be able to date vampires."
"Wouldn't a simple neck bite solve that issue?"
"Oh my god," Tony shouts.
"No, he probably would not do it anyways," I say.
"Why not?" She asks softly.
"Because he doesn't like human blood that much."
"Oh come on!"
"Yes, he does not like human blood."
"Oh."
Tony sighs softly and shakes his head.
"Honestly yeah he's good boyfriend material," I say softly.
"I know right?"
"But, he's probably not going to date you."
"Why not?"
"He's never been one to date at all."
"Aww."
"It's just his personality."
"Yeah but I still wanna at least talk to him."
"He likes to talk to people just not date."
"Oh...."
"Yes."
"Okay."
I give Tony a small nod. He sighs softly. I smile. He smiles back but doesn't say anything.
"So what's up now with all the Avengers?" She asks softly.
"Nothing much, how is everything with you?"
"Good."
"Okay, that's good."
She sighs and walks away. I sigh softly then look over to Tony. He smiles softly.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
He sighs and grabs a bottle of wine.
"It is too early to be drinking."
"Right now I don't care."
I sigh and just walk to my room. I lay down. It's been a while since I've seen Steve...I wish we could find him... it's getting annoying... this not knowing crap... it's making me sick. I bet he just left to be a jerk... I don't know why else he would leave. Huff it doesn't even matter where he is. I sigh again. Today has been so long I just want to go to bed. I feel myself drift off to sleep.

The next morning.

I wake up and just lay there. I don't want to get up... I don't want to do anything but sleep right now. I sigh and sit up. I wrap up in a blanket then sigh quietly. It's too late to go back now... I stumble down the stairs to get coffee or anything really I don't know if I'm hungry or thirsty.. it's so tiring... I walk into the kitchen. This is stressful. Suddenly the alarm goes off.
"Jarvis?" Tony shouts.
"Sorry Sir But there is a large force going to try and attack a mall."
"Really?"
"Yes Sir."
"Great!"
We head to the mall.
