Not overly fond of what happens

Chapter thirteen

A.n sorry for the short chapter wanted to make a cliff hanger that went wrong

I see a whole legion of vampires.
"Kara?!? What are you doing here?" Tony asks. I turn and see Kara.
"I don't know, dad, maybe trying to shop?" She asks before sighing. The flower girl sighs softly. Kara turns and asks, "you okay, Gaia?"
"Yeah... just a little nervous."
"Don't be... we'll help you!" A girl with a strange accent says.
"Yeah, Maria is right," another girl says.
"Okay thanks, Rosa."
Another girl walks out to protect Kara.
"Marissa, don't worry about me," she says cutely.
"Okay."
Gaia winks at Kara. Kara smiles. She summons two large vines from a plant that was growing. 
"Are you ready for us?" Gaia asks the enemies.
"And what can you do?" One asks.
"Watch this," Kara says. She turns to Marissa, "Ready mummy?"
"Yes, ready Gaia?"
"Yes, ready Rosa?"
"Mhm, ready Maria?"
"Yes... ready for a plan!"
Kara jumps back then shouts, "First position strike."
Gaia and Maria lunge at the foes. Maria is a vampire! Rosa transforms into a werewolf then lunges at them next. Marissa smiles and rips the bandages off her eyes. She's a mummy girl! Kara smiles and says, "Fighting mode engage!"
Two blasters replace her hands. She jumps up and starts shooting the enemies. I summon Mjölnir. Tony readies his blasters, Clint preps some wooden arrows, and Natasha grabs her gun. We join the fight. We end the battle quickly due to superior strength. She sighs softly.
"Now, let's go shopping."
"Kk!" Gaia says cutely. We head back.

Kara's POV

We finish shopping and head to Avenger's Tower. We head to my room.
"Thank you for everything you guys do for me," I say softly.
"Of course! We're friends!" Maria says.
"Remember how we all met?" Gaia asks cutely.

Flashback

I'm heading back to the tower... I wish I had more friends... suddenly I feel my battery die. I collapse. Dang it... this sucks. Suddenly a vampire appears above me. He laughs evilly. I whimper and try to get up. I can't move! Suddenly I hear another vampire hiss. I whimper out of fear. Suddenly another vampire lunges at the evil one. This one has long red hair and green eyes and a girl. She kills the evil one.
"Are you okay?" She asks me. I whimper.
"Please don't hurt me!" I cry.
"I'm not! Here, let me help you up!" She says taking my hand gently. She helps me up. "Can you move?"
"No... the battery in my suit died."
"Oh... my name is Maria and you?"
"I'm Karalin but I go by Kara."
"Where do you live?"
"Over there," I say managing to point to Avenger's Tower.
"I'll help you there."
"You see that open window?"
"Mhm?"
"That's my room."
We appear in my room.
"Woah?!"
"Sorry I teleported us here."
"It's okay... you see that gemstone in the plug?"
"Mhm?"
"Can you replace the one in my neck for that one?"
"Sure."
She does so.
"Do you have a phone?"
"Yeah!"
"Here's my number."
She gives me hers as well.

Flashback ends.

I snap out of the past. Maria smiles.
"Yeah, I was so worried about you, I just decided to teleport us into your room through the window."
"Oh... thank you."
"No problem."
She hugs me.

Flashback

I'm walking to the soap store to buy some more soap whip. Suddenly, I hear something behind me. I'm slammed into the ground. I try to get up only to realize I'm pinned down.
"Help!" I cry as I continue to struggle under the weight. Suddenly I feel the weight lifted.
"Are you okay?" A quiet voice asks. I sit up and turn. A small girl with pink petals for hair is crouched there.
"Did you help me?"
"Yes...I hope you don't mind I mean you were shouting but I didn't know—"
"No... no, it's okay... thanks for helping me! I'm Kara and you?"
"I'm Gaia."
"It's nice to meet you."
"You too... where are you going?"
"I'm going to the soap store right there."
"Can I come?"
"Of course!"
